You hear too little about the Viborg Cathedral. We had visited Ribe Cathedral the day before.
But Viborg Cathedral - Waow.
So beautiful really worth a visit.

Beautiful beautiful cathedral
The large paintings with motifs from the Bible are beautiful and positive.
I was fascinated by the crypts.
There was a calm and peaceful atmosphere in the church.
It was also wonderful in the Latin garden

Magnificent, impressive and with the most beautiful frescoes designed by Joakim Skovgaard. A magnificent church room, many visitors who sat quietly and let the impressions sink in. There is a small fee of DKK 10, which is ok.

Impressive on the outside, but really quite boring on the inside.
There are murals inspired by medieval frescoes, but not that interesting. However, in better condition and nicer colors (because they are much newer)
They also take admission.
We spent approx. 10 minutes in there.

Impressive cathedral with a selection of murals and a great exterior to stroll around! Make a stop and you won't regret it!

Det er en meget stor, smuk og anderledes kirke. Bestemt et besøg værd. Der er mulighed for både at komme op i tårnet og ned i krybten. Meget smukt udsmykket men så synd, at de i 1950'erne valgt at skifte bænkene ud med stole. Det tager altså noget af helhedsindtrykket. Koster kun 10 kr at besøge og de penge går til vedligeholdelse af kirken.

Vi var på besøg til barnedåb for et stykke td siden. Vi går ofte omkring i kvateret og nyder den gamle bydel.

Skøn og meget flot historisk domkirke, med gå afstand til de smukke søger samt haver. Jeg kan anbefale et besøg til domkirken, og hvis nogen skulle have lyst, kan man nyde udsigten fra kirke tårnet
