Interesting doco center, however, for someone who is reading lazy, certainly too long-winded. You already have to be interested in the construction and the time to do so, so as not to lose the desire with the many texts that there are to read. Otherwise, you already learn quite a lot of information and also there are always additional topics at different intervals - in our case on right-wing terror. All in all, for someone who is interested and likes to read definitely worthwhile. Otherwise, it would be better to take a public tour and then read only what really interests you.

By a documentation center I mean that you are more alive. No pictures of the works or the planned rooms or apartments.
It's all about our history.
I would have been more interested in the practical implementation. But you can read that in the other reviews.

It's interesting. Architecture and history! The Nazis were crazy and it shows here. That a large part has now become a holiday park is even more idiotic!

Parking was not allowed for campers so with the necessary effort have to drive away because turning around is not possible either. Not recommended so

For a retired civil engineer, documentation has become less qualified than the one I saw about 30 years ago.
Very unsatisfactory for me what I got to see there. The questions I'm asking have not even been answered...

The Prora Documentation Center is definitely worth seeing! History is shown here! From films to display boards, you can follow the history of the place! Worth every cent!

If you want to learn more about the history of the enormous Prora structure, a visit to this information center is recommended.
Inside it is actually quite big and fun to walk through part of this building.
Learn a lot about Prora through galleries with texts and photos.
Prora itself has largely been transformed into modern hotels and is becoming a hip place. On the one hand, I applaud this, but it loses its shadowy past and history.

Incredibly large complex that clearly reflects the madness and megalomania of Hitler's third Reich.
It really is unbelievably immense.

Very informative. Also scary to see how easily a group of people can become manipulated to go along with one person’s ideas. We didn’t see till we were done that we could have done a self guided audio tour in English. That would have helped. Only one room had descriptions in English.
