Highly recommend the sunset manta ray snorkel. Absolutely fantastic. Great crew Kieran and Amy they couldn’t be more helpful. To see these creatures up SO CLOSE is amazing!!!!. One of the best things you could do, with your clothes on.!!!!!!!!!.

So enjoyable Kieran and McKenna were knowledgeable and attentive. We had fun and learned. A great deal. I highly recommend this company for your Manta ray trip. Small group.

Not your average snorkel tour! They go out of harbor north of Waikaloa area. So snorkel spots are private. Marine life so much better than Captain Cooks. Fish, turtles, eels, octopus and tons of dolphins too! Have been coming to Hawaii for 25 years. Will only use Liquid aloha from here on out! Fantastic experience!

Fantastic manta ray experience. Not crowded like other spots. Kieran and Mikena were very knowledgeable about the rays, and gave us a great snorkel! We saw 4 rays coming within inches of our faces! We even got bumped by the gentle giants on several occasions. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I’ve been snorkeling for nearly 40 years and I’ve never experienced anything quite like this!!

I am a very experienced ocean person and it is hard to get me excited about ocean tours...most are about the same. However, Liquid Hawaii took me out this week and we went up the Kohala Coast and explored Puako...and they were terrific. The owner, Matt, and crew member, Kieran, worked hard with the less experienced visitors aboard and made sure they were safe, comfortable and well informed. They also went the extra many yards for me, finding me sea creature to photograph that I would have never found on my own. I love our trip and have already scheduled two more. Highly recommended if you want a great snorkel adventure in the area of Waikoloa, Puako or Kohala coast lines. Small group, so you are not surrounded with a horde of people...and lots of individual attention.

The team at Liquid Hawaii are the best of the best! Though this was our first time snorkeling with the rays our family is a off shore qfishing/water adventure family. So we know a knowledgeable crew when we see one. The entire process from reservations to the end was so organized and clear. As soon as we got on the boat the team was already providing education and putting some of the more nervous people in the group at ease. They got us out to the location very quickly, which allowed more time for education and suiting up. This was nice because we didn't feel rushed and it allowed for a better understanding of what we were about to experience. The team also CLEARLY loves these mantas. It was so special hearing all the stories they have about their history and behaviors. Again, this team went above and beyond! Once in the water, Amy was amazing. She caught plenty of footage so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She made everyone so comfortable and kept the communication going. It truly was the experience of a lifetime and I can't recommend Liquid Hawaii enough! I also have to note, don't be turned off by the fact that they are a bit more expensive than some of the other companies. This team and location of the snorkel was well worth the cost and they were the OG company in this location. Don't skimp out on an experience like this! You won't regret it. Mahalo Liquid Hawaii team. We will be back!

This is definitely a bucket list experience! If you haven’t already done this, put it at the top of your list! Liquid Hawaii did an outstanding job with education and customer service. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Just do it!❤️

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful our Snorkeling and Dolphin watch was. Our family of four was stunned and speechless, and now we all can’t stop talking about it. We saw sea turtles (car wash), countless beautiful fish, octopuses mating! And more. The dolphins were just delightful, and the crew even took videos with GoPro and shared with us.
Captain Amy and Keran made us feel safe, were very supportive, knowledgeable, and funny. They deeply care about the ocean and its residents.
Would love to come back someday , and 100% recommend this tour to anyone.

We were looking for a unique snorkel experience. Friends of ours loved the Liquid Hawaii Evening Manta Ray experience in January 2024 and highly recommended it.
We enjoyed a personalized experience with a small group of people. They were attentive to everyone's needs regardless of experience. They provided a great educational experience as well as are advocates for the manta rays. We would highly recommend this company and tour.

Whale season is generally late December through Late March which the peak of the season in February. It is possible to see whales in other months however it is not as likely. If you are coming in November we encourage you to take a look at our other activities such as the Dolphin Swim and Reef Snorkel or our Manta Ray Night Snorkel. No. It is just a large rubber boat with outboard motors. It has a sunshade, but not actual enclosure.
