Spectacular beach! Immersed in silence, the only sound is the sound of the sea waves. It is accessed by parking the car in a convenient parking lot paying a few euros. At that point you need to walk a path for about 15 minutes.

Beautiful natural beach, imposing its cliff. The views are very worthwhile.
I recommend wearing appropriate footwear, as the beach is stone and not sand.
And another Recommendation would be to NOT LEAVE THE CAR IN THE PAID PARKING LOTS if possible, especially if you are only going to admire the views, they are very expensive for what it is, €3 and they are not responsible for anything, the super edge boy with everyone and on top not even move to charge you, you have to go. Downstairs there's some room on the sides of the road, best left there if you can.

Please note: unpaved road to it, but then you also have something. Beautiful views in all directions. There is a small beach below, but the walk there is especially worthwhile.

It has a downhill lane, and you park on the sides of it, and go up another one, I say this, because despite the number of signs that tell you if you are going on a prohibited route, etc., there is only room for one car, and it is one way. unique, I don't know if people who go the opposite way know about signs or simply do it by their holy flats, like several of us who we told were going against it, and it didn't matter to them, please, more civility, education and respect In that aspect.
The beach is made of stones, it is not sand, and this is good and bad, if you like sand, there is none here, I don't know how the umbrella would be made, we were only there for a couple of hours.
The water was very calm, but don't be fooled, it had strength and took you in, at the same time that it pushed you towards the shore, be careful with this because of the theme children, we also had an encounter with jellyfish, they were small and like reddish, And since you're not paying attention, you find her hanging from your arm, as was my case, and the truth is, it's a bad time, nothing that won't pass in a few hours...
Otherwise, a paradisiacal place if there ever was one, a visit is highly recommended.

Beautiful, without words. We didn't go all the way down, with the views already amazing. But be careful when parking, complicated and on the edge of a tiny road.

Stunning beach, bring water shoes if swimming as its a stony beach. Handy carparking right down the hill on a safe small road (not too steep & room to turn at the bottom), then easy steps down to the beach. Not good for wheelchair access. Nice place so sit for some peaceful contemplation listening to the water gushing through the stones.

Do not park in the parking lot advertised as such. You think it is correct, that the car should not reach the beach, to preserve the environment, and you see that everyone is doing it, parking on the side, and without any problem. In addition, It looks like an official parking lot, the official one doesn't have it at all. 3 euros, no receipt, no ticket or anything

It is a beach without sand, there are only stones, also in the sea. It is advisable to use booties. To access you have to go down some quite steep stairs, it is not a very appropriate place for elderly people or people who have mobility problems. It is better not to settle too close to the mountain because there are goats and sometimes there are rockfalls. Otherwise it is a place with a very beautiful and wild landscape; It's a shame that people leave garbage that ends up floating in the sea...

Ore bellissime, posto meraviglioso, un regalo della natura. È un regalo è stato anche riuscire a fare tanti bagni in quell’acqua meravigliosa, cosa che non davo per scontata…acqua fredda ma non impossibile!

Hi, Thanks for the review, this is very helpful.
Did you stay around this area, and if so, where did you stay?
We are looking at going in June, but cant decide if we try and stay around this area (if possible) or if we just visit for the day.

Hi! Well, we stayed at Hotel Rural Playa del Aguilar in Muros de Nalon. The boutique hotel was fantastic! And as we were having a car, we were moving around easily. To Playa del Silencio there were 20 min approx. To be honest, i dont know how is the area in June (summer). We went in winter and it was very very quiet. I would rather stay in Cudillero for example, but im not an expert. Have fun!
