Just Returned from a double tank dive with Rubens Dive Centre
Fantastic set up, crew and organisation. I have dived all over the world with more than a 1000 dives "under my belt (weight)".
I brought some of my own kit, but in reality the standard of all of the equipment, crew, boat and the entire team was up there with the best.

Recardo was a awesome guide. We saw a sting ray and we’re the only two on the tour. Took a collectivio right to the place. Would recommend

Jorge and Alejandro were very accommodating and patient with us as a couple needing help, reassurances with a relatively new experience. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with the leader but when I asked him to slow down a bit, he did. We were the only two on this 10 am tour. I was concerned the wind would increase in the afternoon. The visibility was ok at this hour. Not great but we still saw lots of fish including a 4 ft barracuda. Mother ocean has control of the visibility. Great value for price! Would go again.

Great company easy to communicate with via email. They provided R/T transport from resort which was very timely. Ali was a great dive guide and Capt Lucky was also very good. Highly recommend dive with Rueben they will not disappoint. Dove with them 2 days and had a great experience.

My husband and I, who are certified divers, haven't dove in three years due to the pandemic. We traveled to Puerto Morelos with our 16 year-old grandson who was interested in trying his first dive. When we met Ruben and explained that we wanted a refresher for us and a Discover Scuba for our grandson, he organized the package to cover it all in one. Alan was our Dive Master and he was phenomenal in explaining concepts to our grandson. We did our skills at the beach in the shallow water before heading out for our first dive with Alan and Captain Ricardo. Our grandson had trouble equalizing and Alan was incredibly patient and focused on him enjoying his dive. By the second dive he had it all figured out. When I went into the water on my second dive, my earring came out. These are earrings I don't remove for sentimental reasons. As soon as I told Alan what happened, my husband and I descended quickly to look for the earring while Alan helped my grandson descend. The next thing I knew, the captain was off the boat and helping us search for the earring in a giant bed of seagrass. When we found the earring (a miracle), he took it back up to the boat and held it until I returned from the dive. He also asked for my camera at the beginning of the trip and took a dozen pictures of us. My grandson had a blast and we were so happy to get back to diving. Thank you Ruben, Alan and Ricardo for an exceptional experience. 5+ stars!

We had a lovely time with Nayal, our guide from Lighthouse Tours, who was passionate, knowledgeable and patient. The snorkelling itself lasted just under 2 hours, we saw plenty of local fish and coral but also a fair bit of sea grass - c’est la vie. Permits, ‘cudas and loads of grunts, parrots, clowns and other assorted reef fish. Nice to see such a health coral environment too. Definitely worth it.

We took a trip to the reef with a friendly guide named Lucky who grew up down the coast. For him the water, and the reef, have been his life. His enthusiasm was clear, as was his knowledge. Our group was small but diverse and includes a younger kid, an adult (me) who had never snorkeled before, and two more seasoned snorkelers. Lucky made us all feel comfortable and included. We dropped twice, for about 40 mins each time. We saw all kids of fish, amazing corals, barracudas, and we tracked behind two big stingrays for a long while. At one point we ran into another group taking selfies at the surface and Lucky reminded them how lucky they were to be there, and that they should be looking and learning instead. We had some laughs in the boat on the ride home and Lucky answered all the questions we could throw at him about aquatic life, the reef, and the area. An unforgettable day on the water!

Today was a dream come true. Alejandra, Alan AND the capitán Oscar were fabulous, informative and patient. Couldn’t have asked for a better crew to take my daughter on her first dive. Thank you, Gracias 🙏

Ricardo aka Captain Lucky took us snorkeling. It was a fantastic experience. He showed us around and even saw an eagle ray and sea turtle. Waters, cookies and fruit were served for a snack. He was very knowledgable. The snorkeling masks were very nice.
