We had hoped that we’d found ourselves a place where we could go and relax in a nice pub-like atmosphere and try some local beers. Our expectation was nice ambiance, good local beer choice with interesting food. Upon arrival, atmosphere was mediocre, beer choice was limited and food was adequate for a roadside a bar. The grocery store next door had more selection.
If you are looking for something quick and basic this is it, but it is very ho hum. We did go in the middle of the week which may have played to the vibe but honestly, not anything special.

Such friendly staff and a nice back patio. Loved the decor and very cool pub area with Interesting wood work. They were very kind to allow us to sample brews on tap. The food was excellent and would highly recommend the bruschetta. The tacos could feed two and were delicious. Has a store and souvenirs shop attached. It had basic groceries and local wines!

This is the last stop before highway one closure going north. It is not a fancy place - just really good food and delicious beer on tap. TVs are set on sports. We had the vegeburger which was one of the best I've ever had - the tangerine wheat beer was so good I'm going to call and get the details on that! Came in on the Nacimiento-Ferguson road to stay at Treebones and at their staff recommendation drove north to eat here as they've been cut off for a bit due to road closures. The drive from Treebones was unbelievably beautiful and Taphouse was really good.

Came back to get dinner here after getting morning coffee and saw sign for Taphouse and the fish tacos, grilled fish sandwich, and local beers. Good choice! Small place with big food - best fish sandwich I've had ever - and I'm from FL! Large piece of fish, grilled, served with fresh slaw and great salsa verde! Excellent food and beer!

belleza absoluta , un lugar que no podes dejar de recorrer , y llegar al parador con todas las comoidades.
No dejes si tenes por lo menos 8 horas para viajar de vistar la costa de California desde San Francisco a Los Angeles!

They have tvs and a decent selection. Food is alright, typical bar food. I would return again in the future.

This was a stop along the way after a long day at Point Sur Light station. We asked in a local shop the best place to eat and were NOT disappointed. Neither my friend or I are beer drinkers, but the bartender, Matt, made out day by providing us with a quite refreshing craft beer which we had never had. The food (each of us had burgers) was excellent as were the fries and yummy tater tots. Lots of young locals there which made the visit even more interesting. Hats off to Matt for making out visit so pleasant!!

We were unsure about stopping here! So glad we did. Great food! Cool store and tap house was great. Hidden up the back steps is a great place to have a beer and eat your lunch with a great view! Go out back and up the steps to eat. You won't be sorry!
