My husband and I visited the Winery Dourakis with another couple on an organised trip from the Royal Blue Resort & Spa. We had such a lovely day. Our driver was very friendly & explained everything as we went along (she did a great job). We went to an olive oil factory first which was very interesting & sampled products. At the Winery we were welcomed immediately, everyone was very friendly & made us feel very welcome. Olga (the chef) got us all involved with the cooking & was very entertaining. The food was excellent & the winery tour & wine was of the best quality. We would definately recommend this to friends, so thank u.

We stayed here because it was on the way to our cottage and we wanted to buy a larger amount of wine.
Unfortunately, the operation seems to have been designed exclusively for event tourists. You do not come directly to the wine sale but have to sit down at a table and book a small or large tasting package. Ideally, something to eat. Unfortunately, you can't choose the wines, but you have to try the fixed sequence.
Only after long discussions we were allowed to taste an additional wine (we would have even paid for it). We also bought a larger quantity of the additionally tasted wine afterwards, which was then left to us extremely unfriendly. So definitely not for wine fans who only want to taste and buy wine according to their own taste.
You sit quite nice, the wines were not bad either, so it is quite suitable for a leisurely trip. Otherwise, I would only have awarded one point!

Absolutely loved this winery. The wines are top notch and the setting is gorgeous. And you can also purchase food to enjoy with your tasting. Highly recommend

We went there without booking a tour, on a spontaneous road trip. The staff was super gentle and gave us some wines to taste (try the orange one if possible). We ended up choosing a nice bottle to bring home. In my opinion, the wines there were much better than in Manousakis Winery (where we did pay for a wine tasting). You can also buy some Dourakis wines from supermarkets in Crete.

Terrific experience, great wines and superb fresh food. The winery tour is short but sufficient and the guides are very knowledgeable. We booked the Signature Tour which at €15 per person was fantastic value.

A great experience ⁇ 🏼 we arrived a little earlier than our wine tasting. But they started immediately. The most intimate wine tasting I've ever had and exactly where was the service just in the top ⁇ 🏼 ⁇ 🏼

Contacted the winery to book a tasting and tour. Arrived before the allotted time and we were allocated a table. We tasted five different wines and ordered a cheese platter and some water. Tasting area is tastefully decorated and is elegant. The wines were a good selection and the tour was fascinating. This was a great event for a warm day, as everything is under shelter.

I cant start to describe how magnificent this experience was.
The cooking class was so delightful and fun. Olga made sure we had a great time and a fantastic meal.
And to top it off, the team was wonderful to celebrate my birthday with an amazing ice cake.
Despina our wine tour guide was passionate and energetic about teaching us all about wine. She went up and beyond to make all those interesting information so easy to capture.
Wine was excellent with different varieties.
Can’t wait to come back here again…

We visited this winery for the third time. Two years ago we took the 8 wines Connaisseur tasting and were surprised about the wide variety of the wines. Last year we lunched at the winery and choosed somes wines by the glass to dicide what are our favourite wines. And now, for our third visit, my wife took the 5 wines Signature tasting and I the Connaisseur tasting. I didn’t expect any surprises any more, but thanks to the professional and friendly presentation by Despina we discovered new flavours in the wines and at the end we are an even bigger fan of this Winery. Winetastings recommended, good food, good athmosphere, nice guided tour in the cellar, and, off course, fantastic wines.
