Easy to get to from Poznan by a tram to Rotunda Ratatoje then a bus and is located on the embankment by the motorway.
It is not the full camp as some of it has been built upon, but what is left gives you the impression. There is the museum itself and a memorial garden.
When we arrived we introduced ourselves as English speaking and a chap was brought out of the office who explained everything in sufficient detail about the two phases of the camp. I could explain what he told us but you had better go yourselves and ask him. It is obvious how passionate he is about the camp and its story and can relay the information well.
The second phase of the camp in the musuem has English translations of all the materials and it is obvious that a lot of work has gone into presenting the information. The first phase has yet to catch up with the translations but it was explained perfectly by said chap.
From the museum go into the memorial garden and see various artefacts, foundations of barracks, the fire pool and many tributes to victims of the penal and investigation camp.
Entry is free, but there is a donation box which needs filling.
To our guide, we say thank you, you are a gentleman and a scholar as we say in Wales, you added to the experience.

Sinds eind januari 2018 is het tentoonstellingsgedeelte over het concentratiekamp in het museum gebouw vernieuwd. De tentoonstelling is erg inzichtelijk geworden. In dit kamp in Zabikowo (Lubon) hebben ook Nederlanders gevangen gezeten. De tweede ruimte in het gebouw gaat over de Joodse werkkampen die waren gebouwd om de vierbaansweg van Frankfurt am Oder naar Poznan aan te leggen. Een combinatiebezoek met Fort VII en het oude stadion doet de oorlogsjaren herleven.

Miejsce szczególne. W głowie się nie mieści ze takie coś mogło istnieć. I nic więcej chyba nie trzeba dodawać.

Het vredesmuseum in Zabikowo laat de verschrikkingen van de Tweede Wereldoorlog na de inval van Polen in 1939 zien. Er is een tentoonstelling over de Joodse werkkampen in Polen. Er is een tentoonstelling over de verzetsstrijders en gevangenen. Er is een tentoonstelling over sonder commando Lange en het begin van de industriële vernietiging door de SS. Het personeel is deskundig en graag bereidt om uitleg te geven (Engels en soms Duits). Er is een foto muur met slachtoffers uit Europese landen; ook Nederland. Kijk ook buiten rond. Vraag naar de film over het stadion. Laat tot je door dringen hoe kostbaar vrijheid is. Wie volledig inzicht wil krijgen in de WWII geschiedenis van Poznan bezoeke ook Fort VII, de Citadel, het stadion, Owinska en Chelmno nad Nerem.

W niemieckim Obozie Męczeństwa Żydów i Polaków w Żabikowie, straciło życie i zdrowie wielu ludzi. Jest tam muzeum, które każdy powinien zobaczyć. Usytuowane ono jest na terenie wioski pod Poznaniem w pobliżu miasteczka Luboń. Do tego strasznego miejsca zamykano osoby pochodzenia żydowskiego i polskiego. Niemcy więzili tam ludzi z Wielkopolski a zwłaszcza z Poznania. W muzeum możemy zobaczyć rozmaite przedmioty pozostałe po ofiarach, często wykopane ze zbiorowych grobów. Wielu mieszkańców Poznania zostało tam zamęczonych.
