Visited today as a carer we took three children with autism and complex needs. A really lovely blonde girl called nic approached us while we were Quing for a ride, she could see the children were struggling with having to wait. She approached us and got us straight to the front, was VERY accommodating and understanding.
Nic asked us if we needed a quiet area, one of the children required medication, nic took us to a quiet room, brought 2 boxes of Lego out for the other 2 children. She said if there was anything we needed to just ask and we could use the room for as long as we needed.
A very special thank you to nic she is a credit to the team

Visited today 28/9/24 with family. Children aged 7 and 5. First thing to mention is we were booked in at 12:20 and was handed a wrist band to leave at 2pm. This was surprising. Didn’t expect to have such a short time of 1hour 40mins. Quick Google search tells me that in busy periods 2/3 hour limit given.
We wasn’t given 2 hours, equally how is this our fault that Legoland sold too many tickets.
This I feel is very unfair to be limited due to the cost.
Other than that the trip was nice. Rides fun for our aged children. Not suitable for older. The car making area frustrating, there wasn’t a good mix of bricks and too busy.
The 4d cinema was good.
Shame you have to pay more for the VR coaster. The kids wanted to do it so paid for them, hubby and I missed out because of the extra cost.
In summary it’s nice, glad we went, but not fussed about going again!

We love it here!
I first started coming to Lego land when my son was 1 and loved duplo. Now he’s 5 and a half and loves Lego. Particularly ninjago. We’ve been multiple times (3 times in the last month) and we always find different things to do.
We usually watch the film which is always fun as it’s 4d and usually you’re sprayed with water!
There’s loads to do…
A car track for little ones (with those little tikes cozy coupe cars and lately some other little ride on cars)
Soft play for under 5s
A bigger soft play for older children
An extra slide area
A Lego dots station (that’s actually been closed the last 2 times we’ve been - they used to give out free dots which my little boy looks forward to)
Duplo ‘earthquake’ stations where you build a tower and turn on earthquake mode and see if your tower survives
A few rides (my little boy doesn’t like rides so we’ve only ever been on the ‘rescue the princess one’)
Loads and loads and loads of areas to build
Somewhere to build cars and a variety of ramps to try them out and race them
Today for the first time we did a creative workshop that was only £5 and you get blocks to make a chameleon and then you keep your chameleon. There’s usually a challenge (like find all the Lego men and win a prize)… although this wasn’t on today.
Bingo where children can win sweets
A small ninjago area.
A space area.
The final dancing tunnel.
Loads of photo opportunities.
The cafe. The shop.
Honestly the list goes on. We’re always that we’ve accidentally stayed longer than our wrist band says because we’ve had so much fun we’ve run out of time.
I read a couple of reviews today that said there wasn’t anything to do or that children were disappointed.
It’s somewhere that honestly we have the best day, always so I felt like I should leave a review just to say ‘it is really good! Honestly!’
I’m always amazed at the builds and the creativity. Definitely give it a try. We love it!

Not very impressed with the price it cost to enter. The main ride wasn’t working during our visit with no compensation or alternative attraction provided (ie VR experience or 4D cinema or shop gift voucher). Very little to actually do whilst we was there other than a couple of Lego building stations. Definitely not worth the price of the tickets.

Thanks to Sky Vip, my son and I enjoyed a lovely day out at the Legoland Discovery Centre. It was easy to get to via car, and I was surprised and happy the parking at the Trafford palazzo was free. It was a short walk to the entrance, and we were greeted by a friendly member of staff. I loved the photos they took of you at the entrance it was such a fun experience. We then took the stairs up to the main area. There was so much to do. We loved mini land, saw both films at the 4d cinema, and rode both attractions. My son enjoyed building a car and testing it out. He also liked the earthquake table too. We paid £5 for the creative station where my son made an ele-copter. You get to take this home. The man doing it was so good. Overall, everyone we met was friendly. There was lots to do and see, and we would definitely go back

Really good place to visit. Bit smaller than I expected and our kids probably a little bit too old for it age 12 and 15. We did the combination ticket to visit sea life the same day. Very easy to get parking and plenty of places around to eat. The 4D cinema was really good fun. The rides were also good and a lovely area for under 5 year olds.

My kids really enjoy it and had so much fun, just one of the staff at big ride area talk rude to my husband. We were not happy about it but other than that it was nice visit.

This is so over priced. It’s just a few Lego bricks, thrown into buckets in a dingy, dirty hole surrounded by Lego models. The ride lasts 5 minutes and is just rubbish. The laser gun is not very interactive, you can’t hear the narration and it is so dark! Don’t waste your money. Buy Lego, chuck it in a bucket and stay at home.

Was not expecting to be given a 2 hour limit on arrival. Felt the main area was extremely busy considering everyone was on a 2hr limit. We don’t have a discovery centre near us, so as Lego fans visiting Manchester, it was a must. Visually amazing, really gives off that Lego magic. Staff super helpful and friendly. Under 5 area looked amazing our 8yr (SEN) would have loved to get in on the track with his car. Building station’s amazing, car tracks great fun. 4D cinema was an amazing experience for us as our son won’t go to the cinema and he loved it. Our son was not able to access the Ninjago area due to his sensory difficulties it was too dark and there were effect sounds that couldn’t be identified from outside and know one managing how many children were in there. It looked great though from the outside. Two Rides were great we didn’t do the VR activity. Cafe area not enough seating inside and tired looking. Lots of seating in the Duplo area. Miniland area is also on small side. Overall a great 2hours! Great experience and lots of Lego fun had.

I can't help you on the ticket side but you will be fine taking 2 children on your own. It's not that big so not much chance of loosing one.

Thinking of coming at the weekend, but live 2 and half hours away. Noticed someone said there is a time limit of how long you can stay. Just wondered if this will be the case at the weekend? You are given a band with an exit time the rides queues go down very quickly also you could buy a combi ticket online and then go the sealife enter afterwards as it's not much dearer than a normal ticket

No these are all included in the admission. The only attraction/ride that isn't is the VR part, which can be paid for whilst there.

I went to the Manchester Trafford one with 4 little ones between 5-7years old in August this year, we got there between 1pm-1.30pm, cant remember exactly but didnt leave till closing 6pm and wasnt even told that theres a time limit... but half way through our visit, I noticed everyone wearing colour braclets..so I ask this lady while queing for a ride, what the band was for she said each coloured band is to know what time your journey ends... but me and 4 kids never got any colour band. So I just left it stayed till closing... so this is a new learning curve for me that lego land has time limits on. X

Just a heads up for you if you do ever decide to visit us, We are an attraction for children, and our policies are that lone adults are not allowed in the attraction without a child. Although we do appreciate that Lego is for all ages, we do AFOL nights (Adult Friends of Lego Nights) where you can visit without a child.
