Family run business. Winery located on Mount Orfano in an enchanting area. Riccardo presented his cellar to us with true passion and professionalism. Tasting in the outdoor area with well-structured wines. To try!!!

With a group of friends we visited the Riccafana company in April 2024.
The cellar is a little jewel and the thoughtful attention of the owner, who creates wines of great balance, made the visit even more pleasant.
A visit is highly recommended if you are in Franciacorta!

Riccardo welcomed us, 10 enthusiastic and amused girls, for a hen party: he explained to us with extreme precision and clarity the classic method and the peculiarities of the Riccafana and Fratus wines. He revealed himself as a great wine professional, dedicated to his delicious wines and attentive to the consumer.
An authentic and beautiful cellar, dug at 40 meters. underground, which offers wines of the highest level and outside the most famous circuits.
Riccafana offers an excellent quality/price ratio, and a quality tasting accompanied by a selection of tasty cured meats.
Highly recommended.

The tour in the cellar was really interesting and instructive. Mr. Riccardo has created an engaging and pleasant environment. The tasting was excellent. Highly recommended!

Tasting and visit to the cellar in a fantastic place. Riccardo is a lover of tradition and in his eyes you can savor the emotion that can be tasted in his wines.
High quality wines. One of the last producers who lives on passion and not money.

With a group of friends we decided at the last minute to try to visit this splendid winery located at the foot of Mount Orphan.
Riccardo, the owner, welcomed us with great pleasure after telephone contact, explaining his life's work with passion and professionalism.
Excellent wines and a wonderful experience that I recommend everyone to try!

Wonderful experience directly with Riccardo, the owner. The visit and tasting of this winery was an amazing learning experience! Competence, passion and professionalism have expressed interesting and exhaustive explanations on the territory, the cellar and the winemaking methods and the company's policy, based on strict organic farming! Excellent wines and excellent locations.

We discovered this lovely winery during the Open Cellars Festival in Franciacorta.
Located in Cologne, the Fratus family organized a splendid dinner in this fantastic location to say goodbye to the summer that was now coming to an end.
The evening included an exquisite meal cooked directly by Gio Mare (the paella was spectacular!!!) accompanied by a glass (even two or three hehehe) of a good Franciacorta - Satèn above all was our favourite.
The event then ended with the sound of music: in addition to accompanying the guests, Jacopo - aka Jacovelli - was able to make everyone (literally everyone!) dance with his traveling DJ set, starting from the classics of the 80s to latest "techno-logical" sounds, without neglecting the dancing notes of tango and group dances.
Highly recommended experience and worth repeating! Thank you all!!!!

Visit to the Riccafana winery, a small winery in Franciacorta
Nice, clean and tidy environment
The owner Riccardo Fratus, a humble, friendly and helpful man, illustrated to us the method and the fruit of his philosophy of organic cultivation and production of wines, which moreover perfectly represents his very person, pure and genuine, difficult to encounter in our times.
The tasting of three fine glasses of bubbles accompanied by cured meats and cheeses concluded our visit on a high note, naturally taking home what was due 😃😃
