It was a joy to be welcomed into the Bake and Alehouse by both management and clientele. A diverse range of drinks, and cosy places to sit makes this a must visit even if you are not on a CAMRA tour.

With an hour or so to spare I remembered there was a Micro here. A small Pub and met by John I have been here before and. Not much has changed as far as I could see, the beer section is OK, .
I will return on my travels and Maybe the locals will talk as other reviews, would have taken a photo but Phones are not welcome on a sign in the Pub

Visited on the off chance after a walk along the seashore from Minnis Bay. Definitely worth a visit. Serves a great range of cask ale - as well as a range of gins and cider. Very friendly crowd of locals.

Super collection of beers that change on a regular basis.Well kept beers and ciders. Knowledgeable host. Friendly clientele.We will be back to try some more!

We visited the Carlton Cinema next door and saw a sandwich board in the alleyway.
What a find.
A micro pub, tiny, hidden, full of locals. Friendly, chatting.
Eight ales in offer.
I sampled two. Clean pipes, great temperature, great beer.
We'll be back soon.

This micro pub is behind the cinema in an old bakery with seating outside as well.
This is where you will find the friendly locals supping real beer.
I had a pint of Gadds Festive ale, low in alcohol (3.8%), but absolutely delicious on
a hot summer's day.
This is a relaxed, pleasant and authentic spot to revive the spirits and enjoy proper
English beer.
The beers constantly change and there is a good selection.
This is much better than your usual town boozer.

My partner and I visited this place and we're made so welcome. It's a micro pub with great beer and coders straight from the barrel.
It was recommended to us to try a cheese board and locally made pork pies. We were not disappointed in any of the above . For any one that likes a good beer and good hospitality please give it a try if you're in the area. Brilliant.

Superb, friendly, welcoming micro pub which has just been awarded Thanet CAMRA Pub Of The Year 2019.

I went to the ale house over the course of five days, I was never disappointed with the beer or the welcome. The choices of local ales are to die for, the intimate atmosphere makes conversation with the regulars a must and they will always give you their opinion of the ales on the chalk board. John, the publican is a great host and I highly recommend the Alehouse for a pint, or two, or three, or pure fun. Cheers.

At least that is what OH says, but I like their blackcurrant cider served with a traditional pork pie. Ideal stop for lunch or early evening as it often closes early but at weekends it plays it by ear and can be open later. Great little pub.
