Lantern Restaurant shines brightly

The new Lantern Restaurant was a surprisingly good venue. Modern and bright surroundings. Excellent food and attentive staff. We will go again

A Great Experience

Great course in superb condition. Friendly staff in the pro shop, who were really helpful and a warm welcome in the bar afterwards. Couldn't ask for more! Would highly recommend.

Will be revisiting this little treasure

We booked a 1 night/2 rounds of golf package in May 2021. Unfortunately for us the good weather had not yet arrived so we braved rain and 40mph winds BUT despite the awful weather we had a fantastic time. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The food (even though a reduced menu as the bar area had only just re-opened) was delicious - breakfast, lunch and dinner! The rooms were delightful with everything we could need. We will definitely be revisiting this little treasure and look forward to playing the golf course again in sunshine! JF

Had 57 people booked from our car Club for lunch unfortunately with this Coronavirus going on I had 16 pull out at the last minute ended up with 41 attend.
Simon the restaurant manager and his staff could not help us enough excellent service and as normal the food and service was amazing

Fun wedding reception

Attended the evening reception portion of a wedding here. By all accounts, the day was a great success. The evening bash was certainly good fun. The bbq buffet was excellent, and the small bar - which is separate to the main bar - had a good choice of drinks, and was efficiently staffed.

2 night Golf Break

My partner and I booked to stay at Kingswood for a 2 night golf break, from the moment we arrived we received fantastic customer service. The Golf Pro shop staff were really friendly and couldn't have done more to make sure that we had a fantastic time on the golf course and stay in the Lodge. Our room 203 was fantastic, what a bathroom,very impressive. The food in the club house was outstanding and the staff were also very professional and really friendly. This is the best place we have stayed on a golf break and will be recommending all our golf friends to come and experience the great atmosphere and brilliant golf course.
We would like to thank everyone for making my birthday treat so special. Wish I was still there!!

Wonderful Sunday roast !

Ive been here a few times for party’s and also my mums 80th in the warren room
Food we chose was excellent and everyone commented on it and how great it was .
We had the same roast menu and starters you get on the Sunday roast and we could not fault it . Also if you want a large party for a Sunday dining experience, its truly wonderful .

My daughter is getting married at Kingswood next year. One thing I forgot to check was the bar prices so we can decide how much we should put over the bar. Are the drinks very pricey?

We thought they were standard pricing. I don't drink alcohol but my husband had a glass of wine (the first glass was included in the deal done by the ar club). He didn't think it was excessive. It is such a nice place and we think that the food is better than any of the other local golf clubs.

Afternoon Tea is available Monday to Wednesday between 2pm - 5pm.
Booking should be placed 48h before planning date.
