Such a lovely soft play, friendly staff and brilliant food! Been a couple of times for a play session but we recently had a birthday party here for our little boy and it was fantastic. Everything was taken care of and we were just able to relax and have fun. Highly recommend!

The best soft play for babies & toddlers! It’s clean, safe, food is great & the staff are lovely! The kitchen staff took my son’s allergies very seriously. They have different themes for special occasions (Halloween/ Christmas etc) The toddle village is lovely and the garden is wonderful in the summer. The price to pay is very reasonable. Because all the equipment is “toddler level” it’s safe and little person friendly! It’s also not a work out for the adults!

Very welcoming, lovely and friendly staff. Halloween themed beautifully put together. Lots of choice of sensory and soft play. My daughter is 14 months and she had a great time.

I learnt from the lovely owner that this place has been running for 17 years! The decor is fresh, the place is always so clean and booking your slot means no overcrowding. This is our go to place :)

My 2 year old son & I have attended this setting a few times. Every time he has thoroughly enjoyed it. He really likes the Toddle Village throughout the colder months.
THE SETTING.
The setting itself is in a beautiful location, surrounded by fields. There is plenty of parking available. The setting inside is clean & well presented throughout.
The staff set the areas up well to invite children in to play. Particularly the Toddle Village seems to be set up nicely at the beginning of the session.
FOOD.
I believe that the food is reasonably priced & the
quality is good. They have a no bag holding policy for the tables which works well as there are plenty of tables for when you want to eat & the staff get the food ready for a time you request. Which is super handy!!
On our most recent visit, I was unable to finish my panini in one sitting as my toddler wanted to continue playing. When I returned my panini was still there & the lady in the kitchen said that she didn’t want to clear it away in case it wasn’t finished which I really appreciate.
My sons cheese platter was presented in a sweet little car plate which he loved!!
STAFF.
In my experience- I have no issues with the staff being unfriendly. The owner has always been welcoming & said hello or smiled as she walks around the setting (I understand she must be super busy making sure things run smoothly throughout the sessions & with other business related stuff that we don’t see going on!!)
Kitchen staff are always lovely too. Very smiley & happy to assist with anything.
Only downside is that availability of sessions always seems to be low or none available. (But that is because I appreciate they want to make sure the place isn’t too busy.)

Ive been once before when my little boy was about 9m and he loved it then, he has now just turned one and loved it even more as hes more aware of everything.
Perfect for little ones as no big kids to take over the play.
As much as I love active tots and will return found it quite expensive as I went with my mum and having to pay for two adults and a child is an expensive 90 mins especially when we had a coffee too in the cafe.
During the summer months they have a lovely outside area but the role play area was cleared, so I assume its either role Play or outside which was a little disappointing.

Dear Sally-Anne,
We just wanted to say thank you so much for hosting our daughters birthday party and all the hard work you put into it. You made it so special for her. It was all so very well organised.
Charlotte, her sister and all their friends had such a wonderful time. They had so much choice with what to play with. There was plenty of shade, water play and beverages to keep everyone cool.
The food was great and catered for all needs. We didn't have to lift a finger which meant we got to spend time speaking to all our guests and watch the children play and capture all those special moments.
We would highly recommend your venue.

I visited Active Tots with my Mum and my 1 year old daughter yesterday.
My daughter had her 1 year jabs in the morning and was very content prior to visiting, however when we arrived, the jabs had a really adverse effect on her. She was inconsolable, in a lot of distress and screaming the place down.
We went inside for 5 minutes to try and calm her down but the situation seemed to escalate. We didn’t want to ruin everyone else’s experience so we left quickly.
The receptionist was not very empathetic, didn’t offer any help or even glance our way during this time. We struggled to get her attention when we wanted to leave, as she was more concerned about a conversation with another parent re booking a party rather than helping a screaming baby in distress.
I asked if I could switch the dates and come back another time, as it was my first visit and was quite a lot of money for entry when I couldn’t enjoy the experience. However was told as per their Terms & Conditions there are no refunds or change in dates allowed.
I understand that they run a business and can’t do this for everyone, however I think the situation I was in was quite different to not turning up or trying to cancel or change the day before. There was just no empathy at all and it’s clear they are all about the money - especially reading the other reviews on here.
It’s a real shame as they could have had a lot of business from myself and my friends but I won’t be going back or recommending them whatsoever!

Whilst the play area was very nicely equipped the customer service was truly awful. We attended for my daughters first birthday and found them to be rude and greedy.
