My class went to Mansfield on an overnight - 2 night, 3 day trip and it was great!
Clean and safe facilities, amazing and knowledgeable staff - Elliot, Sam, Sean and Sophia were great!
Beautiful woods and the food was great too. We had a great time in the field center and the activities were really engaging.

Love this camp. Came a kid and it was so good to see if back open after COVID last year. My kids had a blast for two weeks this past summer and can’t wait to go again. Friendly staff and my kids had a ton a fun every day. Love that they swim almost everyday and have lifeguards to watch them just in case.

My sister and I rented the main lodge for a Halloween party where were hosted around 50 guests. Everyone had a fantastic time! The cozy cabins housed everyone comfortably, and the industrial kitchen was wonderful for cooking meals. We played baseball on one of the many fields under a beautiful oak tree, and mountain biked on their extensive trail system. There was plenty of room in the lodge for dancing, and a lovely wood stove to keep us warm.
Another family member has booked her wedding at Mansfield Outdoor Center, and I can't wait to go back!

We are avid cross country skiers. We ski all over the GTA. Horseshoe, Hardwood Hill, Blueberry Trails in Wasaga Beach etc. Of all of these places we love Mansfield the most. This place has a great, low key and friendly atmosphere. There are various levels of difficulty with the trails, so beginners enjoy the day, and classic, long distance lovers like us can have a fun time. There isn't as much skate-skiing terrain as other places, but we aren't big into skate skiing. We love the lodge, with it's fireplace and excellent cafeteria. As others have noted, the food is simple, delicious and very well priced. My favourite thing about Mansfield is the staff. You are welcomed when you walk in. They are genuinely happy to see you and treat you like you are a friend. The groomers will chat with you and tell you where to see the best wildlife. There are many deer on the trails, as well as porcupine up in the trees. Rob has been an incredible host to us in the past. Treat yourself to a day at Mansfield.

I was here of a trail running event and was impressed with the place. The way they preserve and maintain the trails. It's truly a mist see in Ontario if you're into outdoor activities. Check them out, they offer many options.

We had the hardest time getting our kids leave the camp, they had such a great experience with the amazing and knowledgeable staff. I knew as soon as I dropped my kids off, that they were in great hands, very welcoming counsellors and staff. Everything my child owned was dirty when he came back, I was thrilled to know how active and how many outdoor activities he participated in.

This review is based on the children's summer camp, not on skiing etc. What a disappointing experience, that all could have been completely avoidable had management had best interests of children in mind and cared about customer service.
What we was advertised and delivered did not match up. Clearly a case of misleading Internet advertising. Though the camp boasts experience with horses, this never occurred, just seeing them from a distance on the property. Considering this is the reason we chose this camp and paid the higher than average fees, not acceptable and hugely upsetting the children. Parents are shamed into dropping kids off and leaving ASAP, and questions about logistics/safety were met with deceit, vagueness and being made to feel you shouldn't care about children's safety, Supervision is not adequate and young teenage staff are having inappropriate conversation and behaviour, which management just excuses because of age. No schedule is given in advance, and we noticed one posted on a door, once on property, but wasn't even followed, with preferable activities being replaced by too oft repeated ball games.
Again, the property and offerings are lovely and have great potential. Hopefully someday staff will change and things will be different. In the meantime, if you are a parent who cares about your child's experience and security, choose another camp. Any other we have attended is head and shoulders above this one.

The cross-country skiing is fantastic. There are several levels of trails -- so fun for everyone. The chalet is cozy with a wood fireplace and clothes racks and lots of seating. The food is fantastic -- not a lot of options but tastes great! Not too far from Toronto also. This is one of our favourite places!

Ski clubs and lessons available, the local schools travel here as it is student friendly. Close to highway 10 it is very accessible to the public.
