We had a wonderful day trip from London. David was our guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the area as we drove along making for a entertaining and informative ride. David provided us with suggestions on how to best get in to the sites, including ticket purchases and order in which to see things to avoid tour bus crowds. The vehicle is comfortable and wifi is available. He gave us historical information about both of the sites we visited and gave a great dining recommendation. Chatting with David along the drive was a pleasure and made the time pass very quickly on what could have been a long ride. Thank you David for a terrific day out, I would definitely use David again for a tour when I’m back in town, and certainly recommend him to anyone looking for a guide!

David was so knowledgeable and helpful and gave us great advice not only for the day’s visits to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath, but also for the rest of our vacation in London. I would definitely schedule David’s tours in the future. David provided full service above and beyond including mobile Wi-Fi, snacks, water, variety of charging cables. I highly recommend London Country Tours!!!

I can’t say enough about this tour. Our guide/driver Stephen was amazing from start to finish. He made sure we were comfortable and that the day was exactly what we wanted. The villages were amazing and exactly what I wanted to see. We could explore each one,taking extra time if we wanted. This was the highlight of my week in England. Thank you Stephen….you made the trip so much fun with your stories! We felt like we were leaving a friend at the end of the day!

What a privilege to have a private tour of Windsor castle. Amanda was very approachable and open to questions, exquisite detail during the tour making it very personable. Amazing watching the changing of the guards , learning about the Windsor castle Community, the beautiful insight into our late Queen , St George’s chapel tour and even-song which I felt very honoured to be able to attend but actually overall one of my favourite days out. Would highly recommend a private guided tour. Thank you so much Amanda.

David is a very knowledgeable and very flexible tour guide. He inserted little stops here and there, which we wouldn't have been able to visit or see, if we had booked a regular bus company tour. He called our attention to specific activities within the places we visited so we wouldn't miss out on these. He even arranged for us to have Sunday Roast at a quaint little pub in Canterbury. It was a great experience and a fantastic tour. We were really very happy and very pleased to have booked this tour with David.
In the process of booking this tour with David, I noticed that he would have a reply for me in less than 24 hours - to me that was important too.
You will not be disappointed.

Well, I don’t know that I have much more to add to all the glowing reviews other than to say we also had an amazing tour with Steve as our guide. While you have a specific tour package they are incredibly flexible in making it the day you want. Thanks again Steve!

We booked a custom, private tour to Stonehenge, followed by a drive to Highclere Castle- the Downton Abbey site. Jay was our fabulous tour guide. He met us at our hotel, provided a wealth of knowledge and insight, stopped along the way for a comfort break, and shared many super-cool historical facts about Stonehenge. Highclere has their own guides, so Jay drove us there and patiently waited in the van, weathering a huge rainstorm in the parking lot during our tour. Speaking of that van, it was a new Mercedes with every comfort provided to make our tour even better. Jay was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, & he also had a great sense of humor, which put us even more at ease. Highly recommend this company! Special thanks to Dave (the owner), and again, thank you Jay- we had a great day!

This was the highlight of our trip to England. David was the best! Having a private driver allowed us to cater the trip to our needs. David’s suggested amazing places off the beaten path that we never would have experienced without this flexibility. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

Booked an all day bus tour to the Cotswolds - our tour guide Toby and our bus driver John were amazing!! Very knowledgeable and funny!!! Would highly recommend this tour!!!

These are all genuine from our clients who have had a wonderful time.
For some reason.viator have hijacked our site and are advertising tours for viator.
Much more expensive. And seems all from the same company.
Please ignore these.
We are trying to get these removed.

On Wednesday, September 16th, 2015, I want to join a few people in a mini-van for day tour of Stonehenge, Bath, and perhaps villages or Cotswalds or other ruins of interest. Not Oxford, Blenheim or Windsor etc., which some tours add on to Stonehenge/Bath.
I will be staying in Mayfair. One adult.
Can't figure out how to get prices or sign up for London Country Private Tours. Your posted reviews are excellent, but other companies make it easier to book!

I agree with the above response. If you contact David through his website, he will reply using his personal email. Be sure to let him know specifically what you would like to see and do. He will make suggestions to make the most of your day. Personally, his tours are the best; speaking from having taken 6 other tours during the years. Good luck!
