The ruins at Lake Innes are well worth a visit with national park volunteer guides explaining the area to you in great detail. The ruins over look the lake and are really worth checking out if you are at Port Macquarie on a Wednesday morning. It is a really lovely and quite place to spend a few hours walking around the ruins that over look the lake. Entry is via a tour only but the cost of the tour is only $8/adult and this included tea/coffee and biscuits.
