Wow! What an absolutely beautiful green space, with easy walkways and so peaceful. The gardens are so well cared for it’s a huge credit to the volunteers & staff. The glasshouse & shade house had some lovely plants. You can also buy plants form the gift shop. The volunteer working the day we visited definitely loves the garden & was so helpful.

A friend suggested a visit to the Coffs Harbour Botanic Garden, this is our last day here so our last chance to visit the gardens. It was an excellent suggestion and we walked most of the park visiting the wet and dry rainforest, the creek road, the Glasshouse, the rare and endangered plants and the sensory garden. It is easy walking with for the most part well maintained paths and roads, it is just when you are taking some of the smaller paths that it gets a bit rough but nothing that most people won’t be able to handle.

Lovely friendly volunteers a nice walking trail or varied gardens extremely well kept by volunteers. The e buggy tour for $5 is well worth it to see everything before then walking to favoured spots. No cafe which is a shame but nice to spend a hour or two here. But Take mozzie spray they’re everywhere!
The hot house is nice and Japanese garden, roses were past their best unfortunately in early May but still few nice blooms

What an amazing garden for a small regional city. The variety is large and the layout is really interesting. Definitely make sure you walk all areas as each is unique. Definitely a must visit.

Well-organised and attractive small-town botanic gardens. Defintiely worth a visit when in Coffs Harbour if you're a garden or nature fan. We were lucky enough to spot a kookabura. Disappointing that the cafe was closed.

Visiting Coffs Harbour from England and enjoy gardens so this was a great place to go! Lots of discernent gardens with examples of many worldwide plants , the lakes and ponds were interesting coupled with examples of forest / jungle walks!

Fantastic visit to the gardens today. Highly recommend the taking the 45 minute guided tour on the buggy ($5) for commentary and information on the gardens and its history.

Really glad you enjoyed the electric buggy tour - the volunteer guides work hard to offer an easy way to see the whole garden and learn about the nature of the Coffs Coast.

Another hidden gem right in the middle of town, ideal spot for a 1 hour walk or simply grab a bite to eat and relax listening to the fountains.
Some people think these gardens are better than the botanical gardens in Sydney and I tend to agree with so much diversity.
A must is comfortable shoes and a hat as it’s a 800 meter walk down to the new glass house and in my option the best part of the gardens. If you have the time please read about how the gardens were founded by a dedicated group locals, which a fascinating story in its self.

A very large, accessible botanic garden, which is free to enter (but leave a donation). The map is easy to understand, and there are lots of interesting local and exotic plants to enjoy.

One of my favourite places in Coffs. Fantastic for bird watching and photography with a huge variety of birds, A lovely tranquil place for a stroll or a picnic. Huge diversity of plant species. A great place to spend a few hours or the whole day.

Dogs are not permitted in the garden. You can take a dog on leash for a walk on the nearby Coffs Creek circuit path. We have over 100 species of bird and some threatened species of mammal living in the garden so like a National Park we want to maintain a safe wildlife refuge.

Yes, most garden paths are wheelchair and stroller friendly. We have disability access toilets at the entrance and by the Village Green in the heart of the garden.
