Steve was absolutely phenomenal. We booked last minute because our other service fell through. There were 7 of us and we all had a wonderful time. Steve was prompt and communicative and super fun to chat with. He made sure we had a great time and we would 100% recommend him to all our friends and family.

We had a wonderful trip to Featherdale (feeding kangaroos, photo with koala) and the Blue Moutains / Scenic World (great hike). It was a bit cold and windy in August but we managed. Our tour guide, Andrew was super nice and helpful. We enjoyed his stories. We were picked up from our hotels and got to do everything we wanted. We would recommend Runaway Tours and visiting Blue Mountains for anyone in the area.

This was a personal tour of Sydney. Our guide was a local and super knowledgeable. I hate to be rushed from place to place, but she really took her time and allowed us to get to know the neighborhoods and the beach.

We just had an amazing day with our guide Dune! He brought us to so many beautiful places, gave us a lot of information and we had a delicious lunch. Don’t forget to bring your jacket in winter because it is cold up there but Dune even got some spare jackets just in case someone was cold. Thank you so much for this amazing day. Worth every penny. 😊

Awesome tour. What a great way to see Sydney! The group was really small; just the 2 of us and another couple and 2 brothers from Germany. Our guide Andrew was so friendly and funny and he showed us some amazing sites around Sydney. The secret spot was the highlight and we loved the white bridge across the bay. We loved the Aussie snacks! The Anzac biscuits were just like my nan used to make!
Would definitely recommend this tour to any first time visitors to Sydney.

We enjoyed this trip so much. The views were incredible! Glenn was our guide. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, even the cheeky ones from the 6 year old. He tailored the trip to our interests. Highly recommend this tour and especially Glenn as a tour guide.

A potentially good tour spoiled by a thoroughly terrible and narcissistic guide.
We wanted me to see the highlights of Sydney and to hopefully learn something in the process.
90% of the words out of the guides mouth were about him and his personal exploits, or his family and their exploits. The rest seemed to center around the price of housing in the various neighborhoods we drove through.
His not-so thinly veiled disdain for America and Americans was ill-advised and unwelcome
THIS IS NOT WHAT THE AVERAGE TOURIST IS INTERESTED IN!
Not a good experience.

All of our guides have their own style and commentary and we appreciate you highlighting that this was not well received in your case.
Your guide has had excellent reviews in the past, but we can see there is clearly an issue and we will address your concerns regarding some of his commentary and attitude.

We have booked a tour for Feb 11. We are to be picked up at 9:00 from the airport. Where and how do we meet you?

Thank you for booking a 4 hour Sydney Private Tour with Runaway Tours! Your guide will meet you at the Arrivals Gate with a Welcome Sign and escort you to your vehicle. Please have your phone switched on upon arrival in case we need to get in touch with you. Please pay your guide AUD$100 for the later time start. Please note, our guides are not professional porters and under Work, Health and Safety regulations are not permitted to lift heavy bags. Please let us know which cruise ship you are travelling with and your guide will drop you there at 1300.
We wish you a great flight, and I know you'll have a wonderful time exploring Sydney.
We have a group of four flying into Sydney on Feb 11. We will have luggage from our flight. Can we be picked up from the airport and dropped off at the port at the end of the tour? We are interested in the half day tour. Could we be picked up at 9:00?

Hi there
Thank you for your question. Yes, we can certainly pick you up from the airport at 0900. Your guide will then take you on your private 4 hour highlights tour to see the best that Sydney has to offer! They will then drop you and your luggage off at your cruise terminal at 1300.
What time is your flight arriving? We normally allow you around 45 minutes to get your luggage and come through customs. So if your flight lands at 0815, an 0900 pickup is perfect.
Please note, because it is our busiest time of year, when travelling between 23 January to 5 March, there is a AUD$100 fee (payable to your guide by cash or credit card on the day) if your pickup is outside our standard tour times of 8am and 1pm.

I am thinking that you are referring to our Blue Mountains Tour!
1. Pick up will be from your city hotel or other central location at 7.30 am.
2. We will drop you back at your hotel between 5 and 5.30 in the evening
3. Yes we are free for a private tour for 4 people on the 31st of December 2016, but best to book early, as this is our busiest time of the year!
