Janene and Edwin were great tour guides. We saw plenty of birds (55 species all together) which was a real treat for a newby like me to Austalian birds.

Birding day trip out of Sydney. Knowledgeable and helpful guide. Well planned and organised trip but importantly with flexibility to take advantage of what turned up along the way. For example more time where we found lots of interesting birds. Mix of experience in the group was well catered for. Experienced birders don't feel held back but new birders don't feel left out. And some nice birds spotted.

I am a relatively new birder and thoroughly enjoyed my day with Follow that Bird. Janene is very warm and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Janine also has a great deal of knowledge about birds and Edwin our guide was phenomenal. His ability to find and identify birds is amazing. I would recommend a trip with Follow That Bird to anyone interested in birds (or even anyone wishing to see parts of Sydney not normally visited by tourists).

We have enjoyed a birdwatching trip on 18 February and were very pleased with the organisation. Tour guides were really friendly and took time for us. We are newbies and do not know a lot so it was a pleaseant surprise to have a lot of attention and help spotting the birds. Both tour guides showed a great deal of passion and that certainly convinced us to do another tour again some time.

I want on a trip woth Follow that Bird and it was well worth the money. I've been on birding trips in the Uk and Europe and FTB is up there with the best. Edwin and Janene are very knowledgeable and friendly. I saw some wonderful birds, all new to me as Brit, and some fabulous trip. Highly recommended.

After 2 failed attempts to organise a day's bird watching (with alternative companies) we discovered Janene and Follow that Bird online.
We organised a day trip with her and guide Steve for a small group of relatively inexperienced birders. Our entire experience was outstanding, seeing over 60 different birds, mainly in the Royal National Park but also the Rock warbler and Southern emu wren at a different location, as well as a very fortunate sighting of two very well hidden Powerful owls while heading home.
All in all a great success with good company and I highly recommend the experience for any nature lovers.

I have done numerous day trips with FTB and am always pleasantly surprised with what we find. Janene finds interesting places, and she and the guides are very experienced at tracking down elusive species. Clients safety is high priority for this company. People do not have to be super fit as many birds can be viewed from the bus, however ability to do some walking would add to the experience.
Trips to other parts of Australia and overseas are a regular feature and highly recommended. All FTB outings are friendly and fun.

Janene and her guides have given me many splendid trips, birding and wildlife viewing over the last several years. The group is always friendly, fun-loving and caring and novices and experts alike will have a great experience. It's not only the birds, although this is the main attraction----I have seen platypus, wombats, various types of wallaby and kangaroo, possums and squirrel gliders,reptiles, and the guides also know the wildflowers and butterflies. Whatever your level of experience, you will not be disappointed.

My brother and I went on a day trip birding tour of the Sydney and central coast area. The guides were very flexible and adaptable trying to ensure the maximum birding opportunities through out the day. We visited a variety of habitats and saw over 80 species in the day. It is an excellent day out, well worth the money and I really hope to do it again soon.

I have joined Follow that Bird on 2 day trips at different locations. Janene, the owner and driver, is very experienced, well organised, great company and very knowledgeable herself about birds. Her trips cater for different levels of ability. My sister said it was the best thing she had ever done and she is not a birder. Her guides were amazing in their ability to find and identify birds and share their knowledge. Highly recommended.
