My friend James & I came for Xmas Putt Putt ($23) and had a blast. 18 holes of jolly Xmas fun is my overall wrap up!
It was late November & the course was so very Xmassy - it was first time this year it felt like Xmas to me & it drove home that the most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner. The team had done an amazing job Christmasing up the course with Santa’s North Pole, tinsel, baubles, Xmas trees, toy soldiers, sleighs & more red and green than you can poke a stick at. That said, I was cursing at the giant candy cane swinging over hole 8 (or was it 9) like a pendulum, which knocked my ball out constantly & lost me the game! Overall it’s a fun course (we sank our balls in 2 or 3 putts on most holes) & there were fun people on the course too but thankfully not too crowded.
Afterwards we grabbed a coffee at Victoria Park Bistro before heading off.
I live just over the hill on Victoria Park Road in Kelvin Grove & expect to be back for another round of putt putt soon.

My entire extended family pre-booked this experience in Brisbane as a catch up before dinner. They said I had to make a booking and pre-pay yet when I turned up there were crowds of people there and all 18 of us had to line up for some time to get on the course. I’ve $300 for mini-golf to wait and wait. Yes it’s a great course but please don’t insist on the booking system if you can’t deliver a timely experience. Thank Goodness for the frozen margaritas to save the sanity. The kids all loved it which is why I’m rating it, but make sure you’re not on a time frame if you go!

What a great night of fun. Highly recommend starting in the evening to enjoy the sunset and the ambiance of the fairy lights. We had a great time, and some of the holes really are quite challenging, which helped to space out everyone playing. It is licensed so you can enjoy a margarita or a beer while you play if you like.

Hour n half playing 18 holes of Putt Putt mini golf with drinks served while playing. Fun atmosphere, lotsa laughs and good vibes. They went all out for Halloween. Thanks Victoria Park

Last Saturday 13 of us had a meal at the Bistro booked between 10-12 noon. The meals were very nicely prepared but they did take a long time to come to our table. We were very disappointed to find a hair in one of the pancakes, lumps in the soy tea, a cup of coffee with the saucer filled with milk and a chip in the cup. another hair in one of the drinks, an unidentifiable object in another meal and a piece of wood in another of the drinks. All of these were pointed out to staff who did replace the meals and drinks affected. The overall experience was disappointing as the venue is lovely and we were showing interstate family visitors what we though was a pleasant place to eat.

Saturday 5th March we attended a charity function organised by The Irish Australian Support Association. Tickets were $165 and it was a black tie event. We were seated at Table 29 which was a table of 8 people.
When the meals arrived to the table alternate meat options were placed in front of each attendee moving clockwise around the table. Everyone at the table was chatting and there was music playing also.
When the wait staff stood behind my husband he asked if he could have a beef instead of the chicken. The wait staff paused and attempted to respond to my husband but was interrupted by another staff member. The staff member shouted “Sir, move your phone” reached over his shoulder and pushed his phone out of the space toward the middle of the table and a chicken dish was placed in front of him. My husband told the staff member not to speak to him like that and that there was no need to shout. The staff member responded said something to the effect that they were busy. I acknowledged that I could see they were under pressure however there was no excuse to shout at anyone. The staff member was Maureen Slone -Functions Manager.
She came back to the table with a beef dish soon afterwards which was refused by my husband and another attendee at the table suggested she bring an apology rather than a beef dish. She didn’t offer an apology.
I got the opportunity to speak to Maureen later in the evening and told her how poor I thought her behaviour towards us was. She stated my husband had refused to move his phone. This is simply untrue. She may have asked more than once however we didn’t actually see or hear her until she shouted and reached over us to move his personal belongings.
I spoke with a couple of staff members on the night to see if this has happened before and one staff member said “we got off lightly”.
I told Maureen I would be following up with an email to upper management.
Last night was such a special occasion for us to be amongst the Irish community. I’m saddened to say this incident really spoiled the night for us. We are still shocked at how poorly the staff member behaved. Other people at the table told her how inappropriately she spoke to us too and her response was they were busy and as we were the last table we bore the brunt of it.
Had the staff member approached us, showed some self reflection and apologised we would have been more than accepting.

Terrible service from the staff when asking for basic requirements to play the driving range. Tried to make us pay for clubs when we are under 18. This has happened multiple times. Such a shame to see such a great venue be ruined with poor service. Hire new staff absolutely terrible ones they've got at the moment. Great staff from the restaurant just awful from the driving range/ putt put. Rude, ignorant, filthy staff. When i come to there i spend good money for a good time not to be ruined by the tragic staff. Im a member and im being treated like a piece of rubbish. Pick it up.

We had the most amazing birthday party, from start to finish the planning was just superb. The customer service was amazing and the food was delicious,the kids had an amazing time. Thank you so much! Looking forward to our next event here

Was excited to go and play putt putt at Victoria Park. When I booked they indicated all spots are staggered to not create bottlenecks. From arrival all the way through the 18 holes we waited between 5-20 minutes to play the next hole, and waited about half an hour to even start the course. It took almost 2 and a half hours to get through the course. There were way to many people booked in and at points nowhere to stand while you waited for your turn. Really disapointed and wont go back in a hurry.
