We didn’t stay at casino but decided to go here for late breakfast. Small menu not a large selection of items available. Small serves as well , a little expensive for what you are getting as well!

I have stayed here previously, so didn't hesitate to book again. Everything about this hotel is 5 star. It isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. The staff are excellent and very well trained. The speed in which room service meals are delivered, is nothing short of amazing. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was good, as was dinner in the Tamarind Restaurant. I made sure to get a Riverview suite, it was very quiet and also very comfortable.The bonus for me was they give you a free $5 token each day for the casino and on my first day, in just 5 minutes I won a $175 !!!!

Really interesting building to explore. Enjoyed visiting and the experience. Dinner x 2 was excellent. Friendly staff and a very clean establishment and facilities. Covered our evening meal and drinks with a win on Keno....:) Recommend for a nice relaxing visit. Thank you = Jack Daniels for helping on the night. :)

We spent a few hours at the Reef hotel, it hasn’t changed in years , I think it’s time for an update. The staff are friendly not like the machines lol

Our second time here. So quiet. Where is everybody? It’s got the type of hotel pool I long for - 31 degrees and not a child in sight! Sorry mums and dads but twenty little ones playing Mar o Polo can soon ruin your day. We tried all the associated restaurants and they were fine. Look, the place is looking a bit tired, I admit, but big comfortable room and helpful staff make up for it.

I had read some reviews indicating the hotel rooms were somewhat ‘dated’. They were more classic with brown ‘marble’ fashionable in the last decade, but spotlessly clean and maintained. Check in was smooth and professional. The concierge was the best I have experienced in Australia.

Typical club like atmosphere. The place is dated and desperately in need of updating. The snack bar was ordinary but the food was good. Drinks were more reasonably priced than other casinos we have visited.

We stayed here for 5 nights on a Luxury Escapes deal. While not cheap, it is in fact as good as they say. Rated at No 2 in Cairns at the time of this review, it did live up to its name. Plenty of places to eat and drink, friendly and helpful staff and on site parking at $12/day. Room was excellent. especially the bathroom with double sinks and separated toilet. While not a complaint, the lounge was starting to show wear on the fron edges, but was still comfortable none the less. Very handy location, just out of the CBD which was good on the weekend whenthe town goes a bit nuts. SHor walk to other restarants and right by the jetty wherethe boat tours go from. Well done.

The simple answer is yes. BUT it is up to the discretion of the door people, so my suggestion is to have a spare pair of shoes with you - sandals are fine to slip on if needed. Why go all the way there to be (unlikely as it is ) turned away
