Amazing Twilight Sailing on Aquarius

I absolutely loved my Twilight Sailing, The staff were so friendly and made sure everyone was having a great time. The boat itself was beautiful. I would highly recommend Tropical Journeys to anyone! Fabulous.

Aquarius sunset sail

A fantastic opportunity to watch the sunset and if you are lucky, a whale or dolphin. The knots were favourable at 10 - 15, making our adventure out amazing. The weather was just fine as we set out on a sunny Sunday late afternoon. The skipper and staff were knowledgeable and ensured we all had a great experience. Thank you to Ethan and his team!

Fabulous day out on the outer reef

We had the greatest day out on Aquarius - the staff were friendly - snorkelling on the reef was just brilliant - the lunch was ok but not as good as previous trips but it was a great day!

Tranquil Sail to Horseshoe Bay, Experienced, Safe and Fun Loving Team

My husband, my 19 year old daughter and I had an amazing educational adventure learning first hand about the reef as we sailed toward Horseshoe Bay in perfect sailing conditions. The team was passionate and knowledgeable on the reef ecosystem and is acutely aware of its sustainability. They identified key myths versus facts about its resilience while ensuring we understood key challenges facing the reef over the long term and actions we can take to protect it.

My family had excellent instruction on snorkelling that made them comfortable getting into the water despite having little experience with the equipment. I was motored round in a small 'glass bottom' boat to view the reef as I am not able to swim owing to ear infections.

Ample food and non-alcoholic drinks were provided throughout the day. Long naps in the sun and meeting new folks were on order during our sail back to Port Douglas.

We look forward to another sail to the reef with Aquarius when we are next in Port Douglas. Thanks so much!

Sunset sail

We went on the subset cruise with the Aquarius team and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a absolutely beautiful catamaran and the staff really make you feel welcome. I am prone to sea sickness and initially sailing out past the wharf I was a little concerned when I saw the swell and felt the boat ride and fall but it’s a short period abs once you get a little further out it was relaxing. The smaller group was nice as it was great hearing everyone’s travelling stories but still having time to ourself. A really great expierence and appreciate the team taking us on board their boat.

Relaxing and great snorkeling

This is a great way to travel out to the reef, small numbers which is great as you have a chance to mingle with other guests and staff but if you want to keep to yourself there is plenty of room on the boat to be by yourself. It takes 2 hours to get to the reef but during this time you really unwind and relax. Once at the reef you are not fighting the crowds to snorkel around, everyone has space to discover the reef at their own pace, the reef was quite colourful with coral and lots of fish. The staff were great.

Perfect Day Cruise

We boarded the boat for the day trip to Tongue Reef and were met by three fantastic and very friendly crew members and some breakfast to snack on while the rest of the group arrived. We got very lucky with only 10 people on the tour. We were able to move freely around all three levels of the ship on our relaxing 2.5 hour cruise out to the reef. Once we were at the reef, we enjoyed a guided snorkel tour of the reef followed by some extra time to explore where we saw a sea turtle, stingray, squid, and hundreds of fish. Back on board, we were treated to lunch on our cruise back to the marina. It was a fantastic trip and well worth the money given all of our snorkeling equipment was provided.

Great crew, boat and snorkelling!

Only 15 guests, child-free beautiful and clean catamaran. You can't ask for much more than that. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly ( especially the lovely Davina). We enjoyed a relaxing trip to the reef, guided snorkelling tour (where we saw sea turtles, giant clams, coral and LOTS of colourful fish). Great to get to know the other guests onboard as well, who we later saw and chatted to around town throughout the rest of our trip. Good value and much more enjoyable than the bigger group reef trips.

Sunset Sailing Cruise

Friendly staff, nice new boat with seating options on top of deck, on the bow or inside cabins. Sails out of Port Douglas marina for a 90min sunset sail. BYO drinks but tasty canapés served on the duration of the sail. Budget friendly and totally enjoyable.

Sunset Cruise

Wow wow wow. This was such great fun with 1.5 hours out in Coral Sea under sail. This cruise offers BYO (suited us with Esky ice & beverages) & at $60 per head our group of 5 rated this the best experience of the 3 tours we did.
Also includes some canapés.
