Hi, I'm catching the cricket on 6 and 7 December. I'm from Sydney so would like to know the stands where the sun is harsh. Prefer to book tickets where I get shade for most of the day. I hear that the Eastern stand is pretty bad. Anything else I should know ? thanks

Can food be taken into venue

As a first time visitor to Adelaide Oval - and hopefully for the Ashes Test December 2017 - does anywhere in the new Eastern Stand give any shade for the afternoon? Is the Riverbank Stand in the shade for the afternoon? What time at start of December does the Eastern stand go into the shade? Do the backs of the tiers get shade from the tiers above? If you cannot reserve a seat, do you just get in early and put your bags on seats?

Hi all I'm looking to get tickets for the ashes, just wondering where is the best section for a couple of English fans, aged between 25-58. Definitely not looking for an alcohol free zone! What are the cheap $30 tickets on the grass mound like? Any help would be top. Cheers

If you are 95 where do you get food and drink!!! How do you leave the ground safely without waiting 45 minutes till the crowd goes. Where do you sit to eat the overpriced food and drink which is very small variety in the western stand. Where is the disability accessable bar where you can sit away from the wet cold weather! How do I get out of the western stand if there is an emergency. How do I get help if someone trips and falls on the bridge with so many people hemming you in and clowns jumping over and around barriers. How do you walk up the broken and uneven footpath up King William Street in safety. Where do you go to get out of the bad weather if you are on the terraces( at West lakes there were the tunnels with the radiators ALL Around the ground.) Why is there no specific disabled queue at the Southern gate I travel with a 95 year old father who has an Adelaide oval ticket and I have a crows ticket so we can't get reserved seats together. We can't sit in the allocated disabled seats on the terrace as it is definitely not healthy for such an elderly man. He has shared the ticket with my brother since the inauguration of the crows. A Pretty poor situation. And please don't blame the Crows I blame the Oval organisers. This day and age not to consider the elderly and the disabled is an atrocious omission.
