A girls trip to Hobart was totally enhanced by a fabulous day out with John who took us on our Mount Wellington & Richmond Wine Tour. It was a great mix of beautiful scenery, wine tasting in beautiful locations and delicious cheese tasting. Every body we came across were very accomodating and showed pride in their produce. Our final stop was lunch at Frogmore Creek Winery where the food and wine were exceptional. John gave us ample time at all venues, nothing was too much trouble for him. Our ride was super comfortable. Our day was beautifully organized and I will definitely be getting on board with John on another tour next visit. He made our girls trip a memorable day out..highly recommend for anyone heading to Hobart.

Oh what a magical day myself and my 4 girlfriends enjoyed with John, our driver and experienced tour master. John pointed out the best Hobart has to offer and was very patient with giving in to our requests for coffee and was generous with his time waiting for us all. We visited Mt Wellington, Richmond and we all thoroughly enjoyed the Wine Tastings. This was truly a wonderful day and money well spent. Many thanks John.

Such a great day, John was so helpful he had a wealth of local experience and lots of fun was had by all. Wine tour 50 year reunion.

My cousins were visiting from the mainland and wanted to try some fine Tasmanian wines and to see Bonorong Park, in particular the devils. John came up with great custom tour (about six hours) which started with a cheeky morning tasting at Derwent Estate before heading to Bonorong. From there we enjoyed a perfect autumn afternoon visiting the fantastic vineyards in Coal River Valley.
John was an excellent host and knew so much about the wine industry in southern Tasmania and Hobart in general - I learnt a lot even though I live here! The Mercedes was super cool as well. Thanks again John for a brilliant day out at perhaps the nicest time of the year in Hobart!

We had a great experience in Tasmania with John and his company, Tasmanian Private Tours. He made our trip very memorable. He is a great tour guide, full of passion and very welcoming.
John is professional and gives great historical insights. He also offers great suggestions and recommendations for places to eat. He knows the history of Tasmania very well, and he is very friendly and professional in his work. The tour car was super comfortable.
We went on a day tour to Port Arthur and another to Russell Falls Tour & Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. We will definitely come back and discover more places in Tasmania with John in the future.
My family and I had the best time, and we enjoyed our tours with John.

Absolutely loved our day tour to Bruny Island with John.
We were a party of six and a half. Two Aussie couples, a Kiwi couple and our Kiwi mascot.
John was an awesome tour guide, with plenty of interesting facts and laughs throughout the day.
Totally recommend this company for your Tassie Tours.

We were fortunate to do 4 tours with John this visit to Hobart. From Bruny island to Huon Valley we saw spectacular views, ate delicious food and took part in amazing activities. John can curate your trip, we visited some lovely antique shops on our travels. John is knowledgeable about the areas he takes you to and is very amiable. I highly recommend touring with Tasmanian private tours.

From the initial email John responded immediately and plans for our four days in Tasmania were underway. Arriving on Friday evening, John suggested that we spend Saturday on our own to explore the Salamanca Market and ferry to MONA in the afternoon. We then chose 3 day tours with him: Port Arthur, Abalone/Oysters with lunch at Frogmore Creek, and Bruny Island. John allowed for a few adjustments to tailor our interests. Highlights for our family were lunch at Frogmore Creek and the Bruny Island oysters.
This truly was a private tour, catered to our family. Knowing how much we loved the Bruny Island oysters, John drove us back for a second round before heading back to Hobart. He found landscapes where a drone could be flown safely. When a Tilley hat was forgotten in the van on our last day, his wife delivered it to our hotel on her way to work the next day.
John arrived at our hotel on time in his immaculate Mercedes van, well-prepared to start each day. He was pleasant and affable, extremely knowledgeable of the areas, and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed great conversations on our daily outings--learning about Tasmania, sharing travel stories--like travelling with a familiar friend.
I highly recommend Tasmanian Private Tours--an exceptional and outstanding company for personalized day trips of Hobart and surrounding areas.

John collected us in a Mercedes van as scheduled at 9am. A beautiful drive out to Tasman Arch, Devil's Kithchen and the Blowhole.
Tour included Port Arthur entry and tour. We opted for the boat cruise around the Isle of the Dead and a private tour, provided by Carl.
A stop at The Lavender Farm for afternoon tea on the way home. We were happy to skip the stop at the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry, which was also included.

I am a lone traveller with a slight walking disability can I go on these private tours? Can I be picked up from the Hadley Orient Hotel? Can I also have a pricing on these tours. Thankyou.
