May I know the difference of Tasman Cruise and Bruny Island Cruise. We are staying in Hobart and how do we go about booking either of the cruises or both cruises. What is your recommendation.
Thanks
Jenny
Just sharing with you what I asked Pennicott when I was deciding between the 2 cruises,
Hi,
Thank you for your enquiry.
The main difference between the cruises is their location. The Bruny Island Cruise travels along the South Bruny National Park from Adventure Bay and the Tasman Island Cruise follows the coastline of the Tasman National Park between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck.
Both cruises are structured in a similar way, they use the same type of boats and are priced the same. On both tours you will see some of Australia’s highest sea cliffs while exploring deep sea caves and coastal features. Our skippers will also give commentary on the History, Geology and Wildlife throughout the journey.
Both cruises also have regular encounters with amazing wildlife including seabirds, seals, dolphins and during annual migration periods will also offer the opportunity to see whales!
If you are trying to decide between the two we suggest going with the one that fits in best with your travel plans. If you plan to visit the Port Arthur Historic Site, or Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park whilst in Tasmania then the Tasman Island Cruise would be a good choice as these attractions can be included as a part of your day.
If you would like to see Bruny Island which offers a lot of fantastic food producers then the Bruny Island Cruise is a must. Of course if your time and budget allows you could always do both!
We recommend pre bookings to guarantee your place. Bookings dates are fully flexible and you are welcome to contact us directly to change the tour date at any time, subject to availability. We do not charge cancellation fees as long as we are notified prior to the day of travel.
If you have any further questions or would like to go ahead and make a booking, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards,
Leah
