The driver was very organised and friendly.
He managed passengers who did not always comply with his instructions really well. The bus was comfortable although small and pockets on back of seats would have been useful for water etc.
Although a big day out comfort stops were adequate and stops to see the signs were good length. The views were beautiful.The tour met our expectations for a snapshot of the area

Absolutely amazing day with James the tour guide, so knowledgeable and immersed in Australian and local history! James made sure we got to see Koala in the eucalyptus trees and also pointed out various birds, he also made excellent recommendations for lunch, especially if you have a dietary intolerance. Highly recommended!

The views were very pretty even on a rainy day. Our tour guide Joe made our day very enjoyable and would highly recommend this day trip!

The day was really enjoyable, our guide was fantastic let us know what was happening every step of the way. The heat was tricky but Jason kept the air conditioning running and it was interesting, the swimming was good and we had a great time. The short lunch stop was probably the only thing I could say something about, but didn’t need much longer maybe 45 mins would’ve been better.
We added on the jumping croc tour .. it was ok, I really enjoyed when the feed the birds off the boat!

It was a long day because we still drove 770 km but it was worth it, Katherine Gorge is beautiful.
There were 18 of us and everyone kept to the schedules given by our Driver Guide, so we had enough time at each stage.
The explanations given by the Guide along the way were instructive.

This was an amazing trip! So much is included and it’s so worth your money. James our tour guide was super friendly and we loved his voice over on the coach journeys. Moonlight Sanctury was a fab experience, beaches beautiful and penguins adorable. Definitely bring warm clothes for the penguin parade on the evening instead of just a top and shorts(unlike my fiance) Highly recommend.

The driver tour guide was awesome, unfortunately I forget his name. But he shared a lot of stories and histories about the scene. We were able to see wild koala on great ocean road. Very nice

Animals were very cute, especially we saw penguins went home on penguin paradise, they were so adorable. In addition, the tour was always on schedule, It’s my favorite day trip.

Such a great tour, Bert our tour guide was such a nice bloke, really friendly and knowledgeable about all things tour related, he made the trip extra special for us.
Penguin parade was such a highlight, especially when you walk along the boardwalk alongside the penguins, after they have come out of the water. The only downside was the MANY inconsiderate people visiting who completely ignored the multiple requests from staff to not take photos of the penguins, which was a real distraction when you’re trying to observe them in peace. If you visit here you DO NOT need to take photos to post on your socials, simply enjoy the moment!
Would definitely recommend this tour and if possible try and book Bert as your guide!

We stopped at many parts of the the great ocean road; even the non touristy part (as seen in my photo), and that made it really special. Learned a lot about Australia as James is a walking encyclopedia! But the way he tells it is so engaging :) time spent at each area was enough if you’re not planning to sit there and contemplate about how beautiful life is.

Sorry, I did a 2-day tour. The first day was up Great Ocean Road and the second day was Grampians. I can’t say for the 1-day tour since I didn’t do it. But on the first day of the tour I did (GOR+Grampians), we went to the chocolate factory, GOR memorial arch, Big Hill, Apollo Bay, Melba Gully State Park (skipped Otway National Park), 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge, and 2 other stops. So about 10-11 stops? Pretty good for a day out.

Wow Cairns is totally far frm Sydney to Melbourne. I suggest you change your itinerary to drive from Melbourne to Canberra than to Sydney. From Sydney or Melbourne u will need to take plane to Cairns.
