We booked a customised 3 day 2 night Margaret River tour. The whole liaising with Shannon was such a easy affair, recommending us what would be more suitable with the kids and seniors. Also, telling us where locals prefer to eat and visit.. And Paul is such a wonderful and sweet guide, bringing the kids to the playground to give the adults some time to eat our meals.. The kids sure enjoyed their time with Uncle Paul. The family definitely enjoyed their time.

Do yourself a favour and book a tour with Up Close and Local tours, Paul picked us up from the departure point on time and proceeded on our tour. Paul was extremely knowledgeable on the area and the wineries. The wineries and the Cider place we visited were a very good choice. The winery owners explained about their wines and the history of their cellar door, we learnt quite a lot about the wines from the Bickley Valley. We had an amazing afternoon out. Thank you Up Close and Local Tours.

I spent an enjoyable day with Our host Paul visiting four diverse wineries in the Swan Vally.Paul proved to be an excellent operator wth his wine knowledge of the Swan Valley and what each vineyard could offer. An excellent lunch is provided with the tour. The vineyards visited varied from small family businesses to a large corporate winery.i highly recommend this tour

Never new about the Bickley valley or Perth’s whisky distillery , this was one off my favourite tours beautiful place and Paul was very Helpful and informative. Will definitely do this again and recommend these tours. I think I’ll do the gin one next 😁😁😁😁

What a great tour, Paul was so easy to talk too and was well worth the money, need to book well in advance which proves it's very popular. As Paul said, it covers Breaky, Lunch and possibly Dinner as the amount of food you eat is a lot and that's exactly what happed with our family, 100% recommend

What a great way to end our first visit to the Perth area. We got to try some amazing beverages and meet some great locals while hearing stories about how everything is made. Definitely not shy on the tasting samples and my best recommendation to anyone doing this tour is to have a breakfast!
Our guide was attentive, knowledgeable and experienced enough to cater to our groups needs, making it a wonderful day.

This was a Christmas gift from our sons, it was a great tour, Paul was fantastic and an excellent tour guide. Every venue was interesting and the sampling was more than you could wish for. Catering at lunch was able to fill dietry requirements where needed. Although we are not whiskey drinkers the final stop at the Whipper Snapper Distillery was very interesting and I learnt a lot.
My wife has had two knee replacements and handled the day very well .
The tour group is very small around 10 -12 people which makes it a friendly day.
I would highly recommend this tour for those looking for something different and fun.
I took lots of photos ,however they are all on my phone.

My husband and I chose this tour as it was a half day experience. He has some health issues and a full day is too tiring for him. Paul picked us up from our hotel and immediately made us feel comfortable. We picked up 3 other couples before we started our tour, a younger married couple from UK, a couple of girls holidaying from Ireland and 2 girls from Hong Kong. Such a diverse group but by the end of the afternoon we were all laughing and joking and having a great time. We visited 4 amazing wineries and tasted some delicious wines. We particularly liked Frank the Tank. Paul was informative and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended for those who cant do a full day.
