A place that can appeal to everyone. Transportation is also very convenient. However you want to come, convenience is provided. There are also various dining areas. It's a nice activity to have fun.

Scitec was good for the kids, but the city West car park is a scam. My wife went to scitec with our 3 grand kid's and as she entered the car park was looking for signage which was very little, of were to park and ticket machines. Not clearly marked that you have to get a ticket. After 2 hours came out to pay at the machine then went to the car and found a fine on her window. City West car park are scamming people by this process. The majority of other car parks pay when you leave. How can you know how long you will spend at scitec and if you pay too much do you get a refund. NO. Disgraceful.

Great experience in the Centre only to get scammed for a $77 for a parking fine. There were no signs saying you have to pay in advance. I therefore paid for 2 hours parking on our way out by the exits as that's where the parking pay machines are! They are not at the entrance nor is there any signage. When I called Scitech management they said yes many patrons were being scammed but refused to take any responsibility or say they would in the future warn patrons on entrance when paying the entrance fee. The female manager also stated it wasn't Scitechs responsibility to put up signage. Poor attitude from staff of an othere wise very enjoyable visit.

A great place for children of all ages, so many things to explore plus live shows throughout the day you won’t be bored here! Easy to get to via train/bus there is also a car park you can pay to use, inside a shopping centre they also have a cafe inside which offered a good selection of food and drink.

Particularly school children friendly with a huge array of science and engineering experiments and examples.

Having visited 8 years ago with a three year old who loved it, I was a little wary about going back with a tweenager. As it turned out, great decision. We all loved the planetarium show (make sure you pick the one relevant for age as some are for under 4s) and then could not get away from all the hands on science experiments. We were just disappointed that the science shows clashed with our planetarium one. Will be back next time!

We visited with my 4 year old and she absolutely loved it! Super interactive, plenty to do. We were there for a number of hours and still didn’t see everything!
The planetarium was awesome and the little 10 min show is perfect for younger kids.
Would recommend packing a lunch box for kids :) we visited during Easter so only the small cafe was open for food outside Scitech.

In my opinion, it's better to buy a pass for a year, so in this case, you may spend as much as you want each visit. if it's just a single visit well I would go for 4-5 hours at least. You may have a few planetarium sessions, which are amazing, plus to spend enough time with each entertainment. Enjoy :)

Scitech is geared for people of all ages. We also host 'adults only' nights throughout the year on a Saturday night which is for 18+ only and we provide a bar and music - its a great night out. The next ones are scheduled for 20 June and 12 September.
