Chocolate cake with a cherry on top.
My husband & I did a private tour with Phil yesterday. I have limited mobility & can only walk short distances & he was very sensitive to my needs. We visited Auckland for my husband's High School reunion. So that was the chocolate cake & Phil was the cherry on top l loved the little coffee shop at point Chevalier & do try the ginger slice. The Srilankan spicy pastry was divine & the absolute highlight was Soljan's wines.They ship overseas & Phil brought along a delectable cheese platter with a blue brie. I also bought a beautiful scarf for my MIL. NZ icecream has its own inimitable flavour & it was good of Phil to include it in the tour. I was about to purchase some soap at Soljans & Phil quietly told me that it was in the goody bad we would receive. Chocolate soap & sesame snaps a veritable cornucopia of delights.
Phil is charming eloquent & knowledgeable & an accomplished artist. So if u have a pet or loved one Iam sure u could give him a picture & a unique momento of your holiday would wing it's way across to you.
I recommend him to you without reservation & I hope we get a chance to do another tour in the future.

Back in 2016 we joined Phil's Waiheke Island tour and enjoyed it so much that it was a very easy decision to join his tour of the Historic Kumeu region when we were staying in Auckland in March.
The tour was slightly impacted by the weather/cyclone which hit North Island in February but the tour still fully lived up to our expectations with visits to Westbrook, Kumeu River & Soljans (our favourite) wineries and an excellent lunch at The Landing Restaurant in Riverhead.
We have no hesitation in recommending Phil who provides a friendly and knowledgeable quality tour.

Having a small group for our winery tour was super nice! Being able to converse with Phil and the wineries outside of the “tourist” conversations was great. We were able to taste a number of different wines from the wineries and didn’t feel any pressure to be a part of a membership, simply able to enjoy the wine and the region it was grown in!

Phil set up and took us on a one-day tour of Waiheke Island prior to a cruise and did an outstanding job. He met us at the ferry station and after arriving on the island set up and drove us to tastings at three wineries and set up an amazing lunch. The wineries were outstanding, got to know some of the owners, and he gave us some great background on the wineries and some of the other highlights of the island. He even arranged to have great weather for the day!! He did a great job and I can't recommend him highly enough. Wish we would have had more time with him.

Phil hosted a wonderful food and wine tour. We started with breakfast, had snacks, gourmet shopping, wine tasting, a delicious lunch and ice cream dessert. It was a very full 5 hours in terms of both itinerary and stomachs! Best tour we had in New Zealand.

Phil was a great host and he picked three lovely family owned wineries with a fantastic selection for tasting.
His van was comfortable and he was informative and friendly.

I can’t express it enough how awesome the food and wine tour was with Phil Parker. We booked a private tour for two, and very soon we felt like we have known Phil for a long time. Easygoing but very knowledgeable his tour was fantastic from start to finish. Three winerys, a great lunch and a bit of sightseeing was everything we had hoped for and more. This is a must do if your in Auckland.

I can't exaggerate what a great day we spent with Phil Parker. He knows his wine-stuff, but is the opposite of a know-it-all wine snob. He listened to our interests, took us to terrific wineries and ended with a junket to a market where I bought a ton of local products.

We had booked a private wine tour for 2 and the wineries with lunch developed by Phil were all outstanding. Even though our ship was delayed in docking resulting in a 30 minute delay, Phil was able to adjust our schedule to make sure we were able to visit each winery proposed. We would highly recommend a tour with Phil when visiting Auckland.

My wife & I spent a great day with Phil in the Kemeu wine region, tasting some excellent wines and having a fine lunch. We found Phil to be very engaging and knowledgable of the area, which made for an enjoyable trip. We would recommend Auckland Fine Wine & Tours for anyone coming to the area.
