Most unprofessional tarot shop location Helena Marie Tarot. Helena has a background in marketing and knows tarot however the manner in which she operates is not appropriate. When providing a 30min reading she asks for leading information and fails to restrict conversation which results in the customer 'owing her extra payment'. As a so called spiritual practitioner she lacks compassion, grace and the ability to act as a professional reader. Also note her responses to poor reviews online and poor feedback results in the customer being threatened with legal action. Additional to that she also bad mouths other spiritual service providers. I have no intention of returning here and also did not find any other stores of interest at the market. Tarot was not the issue as I have engaged the services of other professional readers - VPM apparently has supported having tarot on-site for many years. Might I suggest they look at options rather than singularity.

Boring boring boring place to visit on the weekend. I took some visitors here on Saturday and most of the stores were closed. Also the stores are not something that would attract any tourists. Other than some eateries, the quirky and funky retailers which used to be in the market are now gone.
Sadly, this is not the Victoria Park Market I used to know. The visit to Victoria Park Market with our visitors were a complete waste of time.

The old brick building has been repurposed into a shopping area. It has a number of shops and services in a historic building.

We had built up the idea as a neat way to spend the morning with our grandkids. We walked from Britomart to the "market" and what a monumental waste of time it was a disappointment

煉瓦造りの工場跡を再開発して各種店舗が入店している再開発エリアになります。
ぱっと見余り賑わってる感じはなく専門店がポツポツ点在してる感じです。

We visited over Easter with great memories of t Vic park Market in the 90's now its mostly vacant spaces with those that are tenanted being low end Chinese food outlets.

ガイドブックを見て、お土産を探しにこのマーケットへ行きましたが、お店らしきお店は特になく。レンガ作りの建物の中に、ちょっとおしゃれな感じのレストランが何件かは入っているだけでした。周りを一周しましたが、レストラン以外に入口はなく、この建物の中には入らずに帰ってきました。本当は中にお店があったのかもしれませんが、それほどの広さがあるわけでもなく、ナゾでした。

We walked through here on a day out and were hoping for more. It is still clearly in development bu lack a soul at present and for a fish market, that is one of the key features you normally notice when you walk in. No noisy fish market atmosphere but the place does look like it would be ok once they finish it. Decent shops but not a patch on what a real fish market should be at this stage.
Worth a look if you are in the area but would not single it out as a place to go without being there anyway.

Most true markets in New Zealand operate for one day - usually a Saturday or Sunday. If a day market the early part of the morning is best - but if you choose a nightmarket then anytime will be ok!
Sometimes markets are held as part of a festival and then can spread over a couple of days - wine and food festivals ("Taste" is an example) Holistic Health Markets or a Craft Market (sometimes held in The Cloud or shed 10 right next door) - but these are special events and don't occur weekly
There are some notable exceptions - for example the Wynyard Quarter Fish Market is open every day.
More recently precincts have been promoting themselves as markets - but these areas tend to be retail shopping strips / malls which are great in themselves but don't expect to find swarms of crafters peddling their handcrafted wares.
