After a little mix up on the booking, our guide Allan arrived and did an outstanding job showing us the Kerikeri area. We had stops at Honey Paihia to sample their honeys and learn about their efforts to eradicate various invasive animals that are very harmful to the native animals, especially kiwis. We stopped at two waterfalls, the forest, a great chocolate factory and shop, and a wood shop. We had a fantastic lunch and wine tasting at a winery. Allan did a great job of adapting the stops to meet our desires. He also taught us a lot about farming in the area.

We did the 1 hour scenic tour which was fantastic. Saw the waterfall which was amazing. Flexibility with booking times made for a memorable day.

Providing the service offered upon payment. Vehicle or driver was not the one indicated at time of purchase. Commentrary was negative.
Ticket didn't have company name on it and after leaving the van on the road I walked back to discuss with them and they were packed up and gone. There was no duty of care. Overall a very poor service

Allan was an awesome tour guide - very knowledgeable and informative. We took a wine tour (with lunch) from Paihia - the wineries were well considered, we had plenty of time at each location to enjoy the offerings and Allan was with us throughout to assist as needed. The wineries we visited were quintessentially Northland and provided good context of wineries when compared to those in other regions of New Zealand. Add to this we were provided with the opportunity to meet the wine makers who were genuine and passionate Northlanders! Part way through the tour we visited some falls and Allan also pointed out some walks we could do later in our trip. Prior to dropping us back to our accommodation Allan took us to a renowned chocolate tasting.
A great experience, a great tour and a great guide. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful time with my family today. Alan was amazing and was helpful and accommodating!! He even drew us a map for when we were continuing up north and gave us recommendations on routes :) then stopped in and had a drink with the boys off the clock while the girls did a little shopping, so I could grab a dress I wanted and didn’t have to walk home. Would definitely recommend. Also dealing with Annette on the phone was great so I think whoever you get would be an awesome time!

Picked up at 10am and returned at 4pm. Thanks Alan for a great day. My family absolutely loved the day and you knowledge and patience puts you above all else. I highly recommend.

My friend & I had an amazing wine tasting experience with Annette! She is so knowledgeable & has answers to any of your tipsy questions.
We tried a wide range of different wines, some I have never tasted before as they are only made in the beautiful Northland region.
We visited three vineyards, one more different from the other, as well as the Mahoe Cheesery (yummy cheese tasting included) & the Matakana Chocolate Factory (you want to buy the whole shop).
The tasting glasses in each vineyard were very generous too!!
Thanks to our guide Annette, who turned a kind of miserable rainy day into an amazing experience!!!!

A fantastic tour around local wineries, chocolate and cheese shops. Our guide was passionate and full of knowledge, ensuring we had a great time. Highly recommend!

Went on a tour of 3 wineries for wine tasting and also a visit to the chocolate factory in Kerikeri with Total Tours. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience .Good commentary, lots of wine to taste and a good meal at Marsden Winery.

Loved the wine and chocolate tour, a great afternoon. Annette was an excellent tour guide, she was very informative about the local area. Would definitely recommend Total Tours.
