Such a fun and informative experience. Raewyn was the perfect host and shared lots of information about honey bees in New Zealand. It was super fun getting to put the overalls on and walking a short walk to the hives (even in the hot sun!). We were lucky enough to see a queen and see the working hive. Thoroughly enjoyable, highly recommend!

If you love bees and honey you'll love this hands-on visit to Raewyn's Bee Haven. A lovely bush setting, a short walk to the hives and very nice overalls and hood. You feel comfy and safe and ready to get up close and personal with the bees. A taste of honey and an informative talk on bees in NZ and their importance to us humans. A great activity for the Paihia area - congratulations Raewyn on your lovely enterprise.

Wonderful experience. Raewyn is very knowledgable in beekeeping and you get to taste honey straight out from the hives! The surroundings is beautiful with different flowering plants such as manuka and kanuka. Free pick up and drop off available!

What a great idea. Raewyn is the perfect host and was very informative with a practical demonstration of bee keeping. Raewyn has the perfect setup for anyone wanting to see a bee operation in progress. I wish her all the best with her venture.

We've seen so many different honey places around but none that give you the opportunity to actually get right amongst the bees and beehives - until now. Putting on our bee suits and standing amongst hundreds of bees was both scary and exciting:) Our host Raewyn knew her stuff and looked after us so if you like adventure and want something different....BeeHaven is the place to Bee:)

The bees are very busy at this time of the year, this is their last chance to gather honey before they hibernate for the winter. The honey they gather over the summer is their food for the winter.
