先是入场等待游园车接驳，到达定点介绍了等等晚餐要享用的Hangi大餐制作方式（使用地热料理），接着被带到类似集会所的地方，开启了一场震撼的歌舞演出，招牌的战士伸舌及妇女们的甩球舞，看得两岁小童也目瞪口呆，最后还邀请台下观众上台同乐，结束后前往餐厅享用Hangi大餐，再搭游园车前往夜间地热处拍照，结束美丽的夜晚。

我们加入了一个学习毛利文化的傍晚之旅。此趟旅行是由怎么读“Kia Ora（你好）”开始，学会了什么是Hāngi（毛利人的烹饪方式），看着他们烹饪我们的晚餐，继续用鼻触礼问安，看着煮熟的晚餐，欣赏唱歌表演，了解了哈卡舞和毛利迎宾舞，然后享受我们的盛宴。推荐品尝他们的烤猪肉和烤鸡肉。宴后我们所有人跳上一辆长卡车，前去享受晚上的Pōhutu间歇喷泉。喝上一杯热巧克力,听导游对Te Puia进行讲解。幸运的是，在我们返回正门之前，我们还目睹了间歇泉喷发了十米多高。一位司机早已准备好用穿梭车送我们回汽车旅馆。

We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Te Puia with our Te Po combo experience. Our night time experience includes some really fascinating highlights of our Maori culture through our guided tours and breath-taking cultural performance.
With our traditionally prepared buffet being a real delight, and watching Pohutu geyser erupt, this makes for an experience of a lifetime.

蒂普亚位在Rotorua的近郊，坐落在瓦卡雷瓦雷文地热谷(Te Whakarewarewa Valley)，这里除了是地热丰富的地区，也是毛利人世居的地方，园区里更有世界著名的普胡图间歇泉(Pohutu Geyser)，也有纽西兰的国宝-奇异鸟。
间歇泉每天最多喷发20次，高度最高可达30公尺，因为不是持续喷所，所以被称为间歇泉，喷发时景像非常壮观，值得一看。

本来以为会是个旅游陷阱，但毛利度假村根本就不是这样。美丽的雕刻和建筑，他们的教学机构和令人印象深刻的自然奇观给我留下了深刻的印象。 我们的导游很友好，信息丰富，我可以从它的夜间围场中看到非常接近的奇异鸟。 我们在他们打开后不久就到了，这很幸运，因为它安静而且没有拥挤。 这非常值得一游，我觉得我们四口之家150美元的门票价格很值得。

蒂普瓦 (Te Puia) 毛利文化及地热保护区 奇异鸟屋，间歇泉，毛利文化中心蒂普瓦（Te Puia）是纽西兰首屈一指的毛利文化地热村，也是举世闻名的普胡图间歇泉所在地。 蒂普瓦是世界上最壮观、最令人神往的地热区之一，可以看到冒泡的泥浆、沸腾的水池，以及神奇的间歇泉。建议一大早去看间歇喷泉,若与美国黄石公园相比为多点间歇喷泉口,相当壮观。

这次旅行经历很美好，村中心附近的工作人员和场地都不同寻常，维护得很好，趣味性也很强。配备的专业地陪导游对于毛利文化造诣很深，讲解生动。我们参观了壮观的大型活动间歇泉、几维鸟、民族特色舞蹈、毛利文化雕刻学校等。强烈推荐这里的餐厅、咖啡馆和现场便利设施，定价很合理。

我和我姐姐一起来蒂普亚毛利文化村，我们选择了较短的路线，但我们有幸体验了这次旅行的精华部分，那就是波胡图和威尔士王子的间歇泉。我们近距离观察，它给人的体验很奇妙!由于我姐姐和我时间很紧，所以我们没有参加导游团，而是自己随便逛一下。因此，我们不确定是否有非导游团的票，但是我们确实是花了更多的钱来享受我们不需要的服务。☹️☹️☹️

Our landscape truly is something else, the mud pools geysers and steaming vents all add to the Valley along with the Native birds and Trees plus the Maori culture! its really an experience you should not miss.

当我们到达蒂普的时候，我们知识渊博的导游Shane就已经在门口欢迎我们的到来了。他对毛利文化有着深入的了解。我们观看了一场令人惊叹的毛利文化秀，还受到了一位毛利酋长的欢迎。这里的风景是真的好美，那么的令人难以置信。这里的大学，有专门培训毛利文化的课程。规定着那些年满十八岁的人，接受传统的毛利文化教育，传授相应的技能，目的是希望这些学生能够回到他们的部落，传承文化。

Yes, Shane is one of our exceptional guides who never ceases to amaze and entertain our visitors with his knowledge on the Geothermal valley, TeWhakarewarewatangaoteOpeTauaaWahiao. As many of our guides are the same we pride ourselves on being able to answer pretty much any question you can think of when it comes to Te Puia or the Valley.
I will be sure to Pass this on to Shane when I see him!

我们去的时候是3月的一个雨天。我们在庭院游玩时观看了晚餐秀，庭院参观是非常好的体验，他们也会给我们展示古代的手工艺品。这个表演非常棒，是在小型剧场里举行的，我们很喜欢看台下观众被邀请到舞台表演的这个环节，很有趣。这的晚餐不错，我们在晚上也没见到间歇泉，因为下雨和雾气遮盖住了，什么都看不见。

How busy is the the te Puia park around mid December.
Is it necessary to book Te Puia day tour in advance for visit around Christmas time or a week prior. We will be travelling from India and given the uncertainty over travel plans, I am sceptical to book in advance as the tickets booked online are non refundable as their terms & conditions.

Short answer is... we will be 5-days a week until the end of this calendar year, but will be constantly reviewing demand levels for next year. We have plenty of parking here at Te Puia! We have two car parking areas; if you can't get into the first one you will be re-directed to our southern car park which is only a 5minute walk from our park. We look forward to hosting you!

My husband and I want to rent a car from the port at Tauranga and drive to Te Puia on Nov. 5th, 2019. Would it be crazy to try and drive to Hobbiton movie set from there and then back to the port? The ship docks at 8am and leaves at 7pm. And do we need reservations to get into either of these places before we go?

You will need to set aside at least 3-4hours for driving, between each place. It would pay to book into Hobbiton as they can get booked out quite quickly - you can come to Te Puia at anytime from 8pm - 6pm (summer hours). Guided tours occur every hour; cultural shows which you need to book into are: 10:15am, 12:15pm and 3:15pm. Hope this helps with your travel plans, feel free to visit our website should you require any further information.

Can I ask if there is an entrance fee to visit Te Puia? When I visit the website, I only see the day tour and evening tour. I am thinking of visiting there and doing free and easy with my wife and 2 kids. Just to see the Geysers and Kiwi Birds.

Yes there is an entrance fee and if you book online you receive a 10% discount! All entrance fees include a guided tour - those occur on the hour every hour during opening hours. You are welcome to take any one of those during your visit. We are known as the one stop shop incorporating Geothermal, Maori culture, Kiwi birds and traditional art form

It’s close to the entrance, but the people at the ticket office can tell you exactly where to wait. There is also a brochure with map available on their website that you can download and it’s available in multiple languages.

We plan to visit a Geothermal hot geyser park near Rotorua in Jan 2018.
Could someone let us know which one to visit and differences between Te Puia and Wai-o-Tapu and Hell's Gate geothermal parks?
How is one better than the other in comparison?

Hi
Of those three I would visit Wai-o-Tapu. It is the most diverse and beautiful. Hells Gate is large and interesting but not, for me, as striking. Lots to see but fewer really impressive features.
Te Puia is the least impressive. It’s conveniently located and the geyser is fun to watch but it’s more limited than the other areas.
If you have a little more time I would recommend Orakei Korako over all three options. It is stunning and the most complete of all the geothermal areas. It’s setting across a small lake is breathtakingly beautiful.
