I did not have a good experience with this service, I was a few minutes late to the pick up time and eventually when I called the company the guy was quite aggressive and told me « I have a very tight schedule, if you’re not there on time that’s your fault ». I did not receive a call or he did not come knocking on the door, I was quite upset because he obviously did not offer a refund. It’s almost as this guy thinks he’s running a military regime and doesn’t realize everyone is a paying customer? Just pissed odd I didn’t even get a call… come on man

We used this service for the Pouakai Crossing and couldn't fault it. Rob is a very knowledgeable local and it was great to hear more about the area and Mt Taranaki. We were very impressed with the service provided and would highly recommend them to others. Thank you for making our trip easy and enjoyable and for your support when i had bad knees at the end!! Your flexibility was much appreciated!

Picked me up on time, and Rob is very knowledgeable about the area. We had a good chat about the national park. Booking was easy online and communication there after was trouble free. All round good experience.

used this return service for the pouakai crossing, rob was very knowledgeable and helpful when dropping us off in the morning and picked me up promptly at the end of the day as promised. easy to arrange and super friendly, would recommend for day and multi-day trips to taranaki nat park. thanks rob!

This is a great service for people like me who don't have a car. I did the Pouakai Crossing, which I would highly recommend. Booking was easy - I just gave Rob a call and then flicked him a text a couple days before to confirm that the service was still running. Rob is very friendly and knowledgable about Taranaki and the various hikes in Egmont National Park. We had a great conversation on the way back. Only $45 for a return transfer to and from the national park, which is less than my taxi was from New Plymouth airport to the city!

Don’t know what to say. Rob is a really nice guy and picked me up from the hostel in time, brought me to the visitor center. The summit trail up Mt. Taranaki is said to take 8-10 hours. He told me he’ll pick me up after 8 hours. I called him 20 minutes before pickup time that I’ll arrive 15 minutes later. But he didn’t even offer me to pick me up later, he was just like “I have other customers to pick up, you need to hitchhike back”. And it was pretty obvious that I wouldn’t get any of my 45 bucks back. C’mon, it’s a mountain, and this is a mountain shuttle. You can’t expect everyone to do it in less or exactly the official minimum time.

booked a one way shuttle service from Mangorei Rd end to North Egmont Visitor Centre.
easy to communicate via facebook and messenger.
gave helpful parking instructions and showed up on time for pick up. full van.
driver was friendly and informative. shared good knowledge about our hike.
would use this service again.

Very responsive over Facebook messenger and easy to book. Lovely driver who gave us lots of facts on the way from Mangorei Road to Edgmont and briefing/maps ahead of our hike were an added bonus. Highly recommended! Gorgeous day for a hike too!

Rob is a very likable guy, trustworthy as you'd ever find and even if he's the only person you meet while in Taranaki you'll still go away far happier than you arrived.
