A must visit for all the tourists, but be sure to keep your personal belongings with you and avoid gangs. lovely nature!! truly earth has nice job with the planet.

Scorching Bay is a beautiful place. Popular Bay with white sandy beach and pristine water for perfect photography.

I would suggest this is more a family friendly beach. Complete with an area of grass as well as the beach to have a picnic, it’s the perfect set up. There is also a café at the southern end of the beach, if you don’t mind paying a premium for food and as you would expect can be quite crowded. The only thing that could be slightly improved is the parking. If you have a big car or suv they are tight spaces.
There are better beaches, but for family’s this is very good.

Only 10 to 15 minutes drive from the city and it’s a beautiful drive to scorching bay and then when you get there views are sensational.
Even with the wind it’s a great place to sit relax and look at the bay, get some lunch and sit down and watch the sail boats go by.

Sat on the beach and watched the big and little boats sail past. It has quite a few carparks, and a lovely cafe, which gets very busy. Also a lovely drive getting to Scorching Bay. The bay features in a novel called, The Return by Carole brungar. Was great to see it!

This is a lovely little bay, which tends to get a lot of sunshine and is great for swimming. Scorch-o-rama is a great cafe nearby, although it does get busy in summer.

It doesn't matter what time of the year, on a nice day Scorching Bay is a beautiful are with a cafe, grass areas, barbecue areas, changing rooms, fabulous sand (great for kids making sand castles etc) and a sheltered bay to swim in, along with rock pools with starfish. It faces east so any early risers can watch a beautiful sunrise. There are plenty of picnic areas as well. The cafe has outdoor seating next to the beach or you can sit inside (across the road) and admire the view, including the ships, ferries and boats heading out of the harbour. It is on the Scenic Route around the bays and we take out-of-towners there. Enjoy!

Lovely food - 3 of us had eggs benedicts. Delicious. Coffee and chocolate milkshake were very good too. Nice drive around water to cafe. Lovely beach and views from cafe.
