Business is now known as My Ride still at the same location 181 Vivian St. Good road bikes with gears, working brakes and a spare tyre tube provided as well as pump. It came in handy as one of my tyres punctured. Cost $30 for full day which is the best value for money around the Wellington city area. Highly recommended.

Great service

We decided last minute to do a bike ride. Short stroll from our hotel to hire bikes here. The guy that served us was great showed us the 40km cycle around the coast. Bikes were well serviced and made to measure before we left $60 for two bikes for the day we felt was a great deal. The ride on a sunny winter day was amazing.

We hired two road bikes on the net. Easy to do then turned up last Friday to pick them up. We were going to do our own ride when Nigel generously invited us on the Saturday morning shop ride. It was a great ride with friendly people and we explored all sorts of places we would never have found ourselves. Finished with an excellent coffee too. Couldn't recommend Nigel and the shop highly enough.

Just excellent!

The best rental bike I've ever had, with very reasonable rates that included a helmet, patch kit, pump, and lock. I had the bike for over a week, riding it all over Wellington, and as far as I could tell the tires never needed air (big issue if you have no easy access to a really good pump). This was a city bike. The staff at the bike shop were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

Great rental bike service

Very happy with the rental experience. The two bikes we hired (road bikes) were good quality, worked properly and available in a range of sizes. Helmets and maps were supplied and the guys offered good advice on routes and had no issues swapping pedals over so we could use cleated shoes. Overall very happy with the rental experience

Wow - what can I say. Super fun, and a great way to pass a day. The bikes are excellent, the map perfect, the trails wonderful, and the winery suggestions were excellent. I really appreciate they will pick up your wine purchases so you don't have to cart them around. We really enjoyed this day~

Great Place to Rent Bikes

We rented bikes six times on our two week trip from six different outfitters. This shop was one of our favorites. The bike quality was good (have to give top rating to Vertigo Bikes in Queensland which had excellent quality bikes), but the service we received from Nigel (if I remember correctly) was fantastic. He spent a lot of time with us giving us potential routes, trading out the pedals for my friend's spd's and even recommending restaurant stops along the way. Fantastic experience and would certainly rent from them again if ever back in Wellington.
