Hello Iain & Sara Dowell, thank you for contacting us regarding the orange jacket that Sara left behind.
Yes as per below communication thread shown, we urgently responded to your email to suggest we meet so we can reuniting Sara with her lost jacket, but as you have said, due to the extensive messages you receive from TripAdvisor there was a considerable delay (3 weeks) before you responded to our communcation.
When you did get back to us we were more than willing to post your jacket and in good faith we sent your jacket before receiving deposited funds, due to our business being very busy and with being short staffed I myself organized postage, and my mistake - out of sight out of mind, I didn't think anything of it until now. After talking to my office staff, apparently you called sometime in April and were told that the parcel had been sent, again we didn't request payment for the postage as they were unaware of the circumstances.
It's unfortunate that our good faith was misplaced with this review when we tried to reunite Sara with the jacket that she left behind, one your of expected a raving 5* review, but we wish you all the best.

Thanks for our tour today. So sorry but I think we left an orange jacket in the van. We are staying in Blenheim tonight and tomorrow and we have a car, could we possibly meet somewhere to retrieve it?

Hi sorry for the late reply.
I get so many emails from tripadvisor that I overlooked this one until I was cleaning out my mailbox after return to Melbourne.
Do you still have the jacket? It is a distinctive orange colour.
If you do, I wonder if you could post it to Australia. We will, of course cover the post and packing. Let us know an account number to credit.
