Our social club recently held an outing for our staff in a very pleasant scenic surrounding where everyone had heaps of fun and enjoyed themselves.

Really fun. We did target shooting and archery . Neil and his wife were really accommodating with my disabled partner . Nice and relaxed in a beautiful setting.

It was great meeting you both and we're very pleased that we were able to accommodate your disabled partner. We're very fortunate with our location that we can transport people to the activities if needed. We're glad that you both had heaps of fun and enjoyed our beautiful area.

Neil and Sandra were just amazing, easy going and no rush. They took time for kids to adjust and have fun, it was a fantastic experience for everyone. Especially the clay shooting. Thank you to Neil and Sandra.

We had a sensational time this afternoon. It was our first time trying archery and clay shooting. The coaching and encouragement meant that we both enjoyed what we learned and achieved- thank you very much Neil

The overall experience Neil provided was nothing short of incredible. We did clay shooting, the air rifles, and axe throwing.
It's hard to say which was our favourite, with all activities made even better by the view on offer.
Neil's expert advice and guidance meant even as beginners, we were made to feel like pros, soon hitting our targets with ease.
I can't rate the experience highly enough, and it won't be long before we're back for more.
Thanks to everyone at Newzengland!

Highly reccomend coming here and trying all the activities they have on offer. Its only about an hour's drive from Christchurch. I went with a few friends for the Mini Olympics. Neil and Sandra were very friendly and were great instructors, going through all the safety instructions and coaching us based on our level of experience. We did archery, knife throwing and clay bird shooting all surrounded by amazing views. We had heaps of fun at all the activities we did, and they made sure we left feeling accomplished. We finished off with lunch at Fables restaurant at the clubhouse. I will definitely be returning to try the other activities we didn't do today and hopefully get to try axe throwing.

Hi Susannah. Its great you had such a good experience with us and yes safety is paramount but making sure everyone has a Blast! at the same time. It's very handy being based at Fable Terrace Downs as everything is in one place all with the most awesome views.

With instructions and guidance from Neil and Sandra for all ages (6 - 60+), we had a fantastic time challenging and cheering our group on. This was a highlight to our stay, providing great memories.

What a fun morning, ski field closed and after clay shooting and archery experience not disappointed as had so much fun will be back to perfect the skills next year when visiting again from Oz

I have a group of 7 x 19-yr old girls and am taking them for a get-to-know-the -South -Island tour - we may be staying at Terrace Downs in late July - I see you do a mini Olympics - please explain, it sounds like fun.

HI Tim. Many thanks for your enquiry, The Mini Olympic Challenge consists of 3 activities these are Archery, Clay Shooting and a golf chipping skill. We instruct on all 3 activities and all the equipment is provided this also includes all safety equipment. We take score cards with us so we can find out who is the top archer, clay shooter and golfer we also have a certificate for top Mini Olympian.
