For, I don't know how many years, the Edmond's volunteers have run an autumn garden party, but this year may be the last. Rumour has it that the committee are too exhausted to run next year's party. If it doesn't go ahead, I doubt very much that it will be revived in 2026. Any new volunteers?

Lovely little garden which is well maintained and looked after.
There always seems to be someone working there in the garden when we visit.
Nice and safe for the little ones to run around freely.

Can't believe I haven't visited this charming little factory garden before. It was started in the 1930's when Mr Edmonds Baking Products factory was in its heyday. Actually, I can remember the factory from when I was a little girl. Yes, Yes, I know...…
It's really very lovely and the garden seats, probably lovingly made by a kind and clever volunteer, have the Sure To Rise logo as their back. The garden is maintained but volunteers these days but back in the day there was a paid and devoted gardener on the payroll.
You can drive right in and park behind the garden if you take the entrance off Ferry Road. Entry is free and it would be a truly lovely place to take a picnic.

Always go for walks to this park it's such a hidden gem. Plenty of nice wee seats, different little areas and handy having toliets.

I believe these gardens are run voluntarily (with some council money and assistance) by ex-employees of Edmonds. The pinnacle of their year is the Edmonds Garden Picnic in February, a genteel get-together of lite music, and tiffins (afternoon tea) open to the public. A must!

Très joli jardin public avec étang et au fond il y a une petite place de jeu pour les enfants. Notre fille a adoré le toboggan :-)

The Edmonds gardens are a nice place to visit if your near Linwood. Spot and have lunch or just enjoy the amazing flowers, trees and roses.

A beautiful spot with mature trees and during winter you can find monarch butterflies clustering in one of the larger trees in their hundreds.

Would love to see it in spring. We didn't realise it existed until we spotted on a map. So pleased that they have kept it even though the factory has gone. Love the 'sunrise' chairs.
