当你住在皇后镇时，这绝对是必游的景点。小路的开始部分很陡，但如果你慢慢来的话，也还行，你可以轻松走完。我走了一个小时才爬到山顶！不要在basket of dreams之后就停止攀登了，从那里走到顶部还需要20分钟，而且绝对值得。有些评论说顶部的风景和basket of dreams一样，这完全是假的，你在那里可以看到360度的风景，没有任何树的遮挡！去吧，你不会后悔的！

我们在一个晴朗、凉爽的早晨去爬的皇后镇山的时间步道，尽管我的孩子们在路上抱怨，山顶的风景也是值得的！孩子们（11岁，8岁）很喜欢路边的石堆和童话门，这使之更有趣了。我们可能花了大约2-2.5小时上山和下山，但我们没有到比徒步遇见你更远的地方。尽管如此，还是要为一些陡峭的攀登做好准备，我们甚至是从肯特圣入口出发的!

我们今天的游船之旅被取消了，我们都很想出出汗，所以我们在谷歌上搜索了当地的徒步路线。那是一条风景优美的小路。我们从湖边出发，和两个10岁大的男孩走了2个小时才到达山顶。我们甚至还在下山的路上跑了一段。你会需要水和合适的鞋子。我们都穿着亚瑟士。强烈推荐这次免费活动！

如果可以的话，早点去。从缆车上可以看到壮观的景色，在顶部有一个很好的中心。乘坐ZipTrek Ecoturs Zipline下来。进行Kea 6号线之旅，非常棒。

我们从人行道的最后部分开始--从皇后镇开始会增加一些陡峭的山路。大约2-3个小时的路程都是上坡路。我们是早上出发的，那天天气很好，所以从山顶可以看到很棒的景色。太棒了，它离城镇是如此的近。

谢天谢地，多亏我朋友向我推荐了这个景点！在此处可以进行一次不受熙来攘往的游人打扰的美妙徒步之旅。“梦之篮”雕像非常漂亮，它是整个皇后镇值得你驻足观赏的景点之一。

Planning to visit NZ with my boyfriend. Is this place ideal for us? We love hiking and nature and want to know when it's best to visit.

Hi guys,
Have planned to do this hike in late June. Anyone has any idea how snowy/ slippery it would be then? We're reasonably fit but we're just unsure about the conditions then. Would it still be advisable to go around that time? If not, any other recommendations for a hike? Thanks in advance! =o)

Hello!
It was pretty steep and I can imagine parts of the track would be slippery if it has been raining. I would suggest hiking boots if possible, my sneakers did ok though.
Also take water, as it is a bit of a walk to the top!
Also make sure you leave at a decent hour, it does get dark and it can take up to 3 hours to the top and back.

Hello there. great reviews of Queenstown Hill.But am a lil confused.Is the Gondola ride and Hill walk / hike in the same place? Is it possible to take a gondola up and then walk back to the car park?

Hi, Queenstown Hill and the Gondola Hill are two different walks.
Queenstown Hill start is at the corner of Kerry Drive and Belfast Terrace in Queenstown - In this walk you will have to walk up and down there is no Gondola. If you go to the top you need about 2 - 3 hours depending on your speed and fitness. You can also go up to the basket which is lower down and will take less time but still has some good views.
The Gondola Hill is in Brecon Street (by the Skyline Gondola) or you can also start in Thompson Street (at the top end) and walk up to the Gondola.
Depending if you want to walk up or walk down - It is possible to take the Gondola either up or down and then walk up or down.

We also hiked up the hill to the top of the Queenstown gondola. The Queenstown Hill is higher, has unobstructed views and is something you don't want to miss if you are physically able. Go for it!
