Fantastic experience, we did the full day tour and it we went through about 30 amazing wines. Plus lunch was delicious. Highly recommend! Perfect way to explore the Hunter

We had a fabulous full day wine tour and John was an entertaining and accomodating host. We had delicious wines, gorgeous scenery and some fabulous cheese and chocolate pairings. Cannot recommend it enough.

This was a great choice for wine tours. The start of the tour at two fat blokes was my favourite stop, however every cellar door we went to had a great selections of wine. Everyone was lovely, down to earth, accomodating and made the experience a really great one. The wines were super tasty as well. Julie, our guide was a delight. I highly recommend.

Fantastic, fun day of wine, food and laughs. Bill, our tour guide, was funny and knowledgeable and taught us the best way to enjoy any wine. The cheese and wine pairing was the highlight - delicious. A great variety of wineries really highlighted all The Hunter Valley has to offer.

This was a great way to spend a few hours. Tasted lots of wine and cheese with a very friendly group of people. Our driver,Andy, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive

Would highly recommend doing the cheese and wine pairing. We had nine different wines, with nine different cheeses. Was a fantastic experience, Scott was very knowledgeable and funny which made it even more enjoyable. Didn’t want the wine, cheese or the afternoon to end. We sat outside under the veranda was an absolute beautiful afternoon.

Our tour guide John was friendly, excellent and very knowledgeable. We were part of a group of fourteen who all got on famously. The wine and cheese pairings at the start got us off to a great start. The boutique wineries all had very convivial hosts and a wide variety of wines to taste. The air conditioned mini bus was perfect for the day and the day was well planned.

Bloody awesome day! Really great value, good transport, our guide Julz was very informative, funny and really friendly. Tasted so many great wines, cheeses, chocolate and beers.

Our tour guide, Bill, was a Hunter Valley institution himself. Lived here all of his life, a born gourmand and an entertainer. I came away with so much useful knowledge of wine making, how to pair, and how best to enjoy. Aside for the cheese and chocolate pairings, the lunch provided was also both sumptuous and generous. We returned the next day for breakfast and I enjoyed the best egg and bacon roll of my life. Who knew that such a humble snack could be elevated to a chefs hat level (prepared by the wonderful Katy).

Hi, has anyone done the Uncork The Hunter tour? Being a fairly expensive tour, I’m wondering if if it’s value for money with only a picnic box for lunch and no mention of a glass of wine to accompany. Everything else sounds good.

Hi Ann, the picnic box lunch is huge with plenty leftover to take home. You can check it out on the website and there has been more added to it since the original photos were taken!
There's definitely a glass of wine available with lunch, I'll make sure the team fix that up.

Hi, they do pick up and return people to their accommodation. I am not sure how far out they do the pick up, so it is best to call them to ask for your specific accommodation.

I think it was about $250 each.
This included all the wine we drank, over 2bottles each!
Breakfast, lunch and cheeses.
Pick up and dropped off at our accommodation, as well as the best guide!
Worth ever cent.
