My wife and I walked along this beach during our recent vacation in Lakes Entrance where we stayed for five nights.
This beach is part of the famous Ninety Mile Beach, which is one of the longest beaches in the world. It is also part of the Entrance Walk 5 kilometres circuit, which begins near the Cunninghame Arm Footbridge.

No businesses open on the ocean side and quite a few shop closed in the shopping strip, and expensive to get a sandwich for lunch $40.00 for example

We expected more...if you don't have a boat not really a lot to do. Restaurants were either poor or overpriced for fancy slamm portions. Beach is lovely. It's a strip development...no real village feel and a bit ugly. Overall I wouldn't bother going back.

Really nice wide beach. Very soft sand and well patrolled by the surf life savers.
Was a little disappointed with the waves though - wanted bigger!

Lake entrance is one of the must-visit destinations in northeastern victoria. it has a small town, along with fishing ports, a beautiful lake, and plenty of family-friendly parks nearby. the best part of this trip was the scenic ferry ride along the channel connecting the Gippsland lakes.

The beach is brilliant from the surf to the lakes there is 90 miles of beach and even if you dont swim the walk is fantastic. Go out on a boat trip down to Metung and have a great meal overlooking the water.
Go to the Buchan caves (you will not be disappointed). Ask the locals they are all very helpful and will always give you ideas from a local perspective
