这里成了我们旅游的亮点！我们在观景台看到了一只鲸鱼，它离观景台非常近。而且天上还有一道彩虹。上帝真的是一个厉害的设计师。一条美丽的海岸线，绵延不绝，笼罩在圣辉之中。瓦南布尔生来就是给予人美的地方。

海景真是太漂亮了。海水是深浅不一的蓝色，岸边有小波浪拍打着。海岸线很长，相当壮观。我们在观看几个冲浪者和人们享受海滩，但我们呆在观鲸平台上。这个木质平台很宽，沿着海滩的顶部延伸，即使是坐轮椅也很容易到达。这个地区沿着维多利亚西南部的海岸线，是这个季节鲸鱼产卵的地方。有一个宽敞的停车场，还有茂密的植被。我们在大洋路上途经沃南布尔，很高兴能在这里停下来看一看。

我们本来就计划了将于大洋路上，希望能看到鲸鱼，但现在不是很合适的季节。我们看到一些网站提到可以在9月、10月中，甚至是11月都能看到鲸鱼。我们是在11月初去的，完全没有看到鲸鱼，甚至没有别的人去关注它们。但是没关系，我们可以继续我们的行程。另外，我们用谷歌地图导航，却带我们走到了一条刚建成却不通的路，是个死胡同。后来我们使用苹果地图，跟着指示走，最终到达了那里。

我们很高兴来游览了洛根海滩，因为从鲸鱼观赏平台上看到的景色很美。这里有很多标示牌，可以了解到有趣的鲸鱼栖息地。我们去参观鲸鱼的时机不对，但仍然值得参观。

Hi, I’m planning a trip to Warrnambool from 26 - 29 September. What are the chances that whales will still be there? Really keen on whale watching! Any advice is appreciated here.

Whales are wild and free, so there is no set time or dates.
Look up the web site, for the best months.
however as I have said they are a wild creature, do go there and enjoy the beach and vista, and maybe you might be surprised.
enjoy Warrnambool and surrounds it is a nice place.

Best way to find this out is to google 'whale watching' in Warrnambool as it is seasonal. But Warrnambool itself is worth a viewing anytime - especially the Maritime Museum - a must see.

Each year, roughly between late May and early October, Southern Right Whales return to their nursery at Logan's Beach to give birth and raise their calves.

Hi yes we have had our dog on Logans Beach off lead, but had the lead with us in case we felt we should put him on it if young children are around, we might know our dog is friendly but kids don't and get scared. Most beaches on that stretch from Ocean Grove onwards are very accommodating to our 4 legged friends.

Hi I would like to send a belated thank you to Michaela, this lady went above and beyond the call of duty when we were there. Thank you MIchaela, your very kind and helpful loan of your mobile phone when we were in dire straits helped so much. It may have not seemed to be a great deal, but to us (tourists, who needed help). Your service to us has left us with a very pleasant memory of our dealings on your island, We had attempted to get back to say this in person but unfortunately you had already left. So would the bosses etc please ensure this lady gets a very welcome thank you from Murray Harding and Diana Lester of Australia! We will be back!

Glad you had agood experience. I also visited today and saw one adult whale. Put your experience down to good Karma. I have also had 2 exceptional experiences while in the USA where people went out of their way to help. Despite all the bad things we always seem to hear about, most people are good and want to be helpful. It is great to remember good deeds and pass them on, It will then be a better world. Cheers
