Thank you abundy for your review and feedback. As you've indicated, tasting is free when a bottle of wine is purchased, and our team will always work very hard to ensure each guest finds a wine they enjoy. In fact the tasting fee is what allows us to have such a wide range of wines available on tasting (currently 25 wines) from our latest releases through to our museum chardonnays and cabernet sauvignons, and even our MJW Cabernet Sauvignon at $180 per bottle. The tastings can also be conducted in a seated setting providing the opportunity to have your own space to taste and compare the wines away from the counter style service, and with our specially created iPad app that details the winemakers notes and technical data of every wine available. So whilst we understand that not everyone visits Voyager Estate with the specific intent to taste and purchase wine, we hope that we have created a tasting experience that is well worth the value of a small fee, but knowing that it is free if a wine is enjoyed enough to buy a bottle.
