This has a very good amount of ceramics, paintings and jewellery pieces. A few smaller items are more reasonably priced. Some works are very expensive. Well worth visiting.

Walking around the basin we stumbled across this gallery. I bought a beautiful bowl that was just stunning. They blow their own glass out the back and exhibit a number of beautiful pieces. Well worth a stop

We found our anniversary celebration gift at this gallery, and the added bonus was looking around a lovely space, with great energy and beautifully displayed artwork. The owner also gave us a recommendation on where to eat which was brilliant!

This absolutely beautiful gallery is one of the best in the world featuring gorgeous artwork. The collections are carefully and beautifully curated and Gallery owner Kathryn and Phillip are wonderful
There is a glass studio on the premises and the Gallery features top artists. I can’t say enough about this Gallery and owners, staff and featured artists. Plus they will ship as well

Here you can watch as a true artist works with his chosen medium - glass. You can also buy directly from his workspace on an honour system, or through the store that sells his wares as well as other artists.

No visit to Whangarei is complete without going to Burning Issues. I'm a fan for glass, which is here in splendid abundance, but there are ceramics, sculpture, jewellery and more. Highly recommended
