我在出发前就被警告过，水会有点汹涌，但我还是决定继续下去。这是个非常棒的决定!最后，我成了这次旅行中唯一走完全程的人，但这也可能是件好事!考恩是个很棒的导游，而且很有趣。我很兴奋我看到许多海豹，海燕，甚至2只信天翁!我绝对推荐这次旅行——即使在更冷的月份!

我们和我们的导游Nicole玩得很开心。她知识渊博，对我们一群人非常细心周到，让这次旅行充满乐趣。我们在岩石上看到很多海豹，水里也有一些，这让我们拍到了很棒的照片！他们的装备都很好，让我们感到暖和，也不会被打湿。划桨很简单，而且给了我们很多指导，所以即使是初学者也可以和他们一起划。强烈推荐。

5月27日下午，我们在考恩的陪伴下，度过了我们私人旅行中最美妙的一个下午。虽然我们都没有皮划艇的经验，但考恩给了我们十足的安全感，所以我们从一开始就很放松。我们整个下午都被顽皮的海豚围绕着，背景是群山，真是不可思议！棒极了！考恩对当地的野生动物和景观非常了解。我一定会向其他人推荐这个地方的！

非常好的一次体验，由于在中国不是很流行，淘宝和携程也没有买这个项目，我们提前一天才在凯库拉官网上看到这个项目，中午12点到的凯库拉游客中心，立马付了钱，赶上了1230的时间，走过去五分钟的距离，整个行程非常合理，先是短暂的教学和介绍，然后划船出行，真的是划得非常非常远，近距离的看到了很多的海豹在晒太阳和游泳，还有企鹅和海豚。工作人员非常友好，由于我和我老公体力不好，船远远的掉在大部队后面，三个教练之一的小姐姐一直划在我们旁边给我们讲解，聊天，带我们去看海豹，各种拍照视频。这114纽币花的非常值得，真的是跑了很远的外海一直在划，和国内的一小块区域随便划一下完全不一样，强烈推荐，性价比很高。

Thanks Kavin, Mary and Kaikoura Kayaks team! 让我和孩子在2月4日体验了一次奇妙的与海豚的同游之旅，一次感受自然和谐相处之旅。教练们都非常的专业，安全指导和操作方法都很讲解的很详尽，而且对同行的6人非常关照与体贴。非常感谢两位教练！开始是沿海岸线去探索发现海豹，但令人惊喜的是很快我们遇上了一群海豚，确切地说是超过100条的一大群海豚。我们原以为它们会很快离我们而去，但它们在我们周围逗留了超过40分钟，像是嬉戏玩耍一般。那些海豚就在我们艇边、在艇下穿行，还不时跃出海面、旋转翻腾，我能感受到它们把我们也看成大自然的一部分，大家一起和谐相处。这真是难以置信且让人毕生难忘的经历！

Certainly, if you are healthy and the weather cooperates. Late day is usually rougher than in the mornings though. But, it could also be perfectly calm at sunset. The guides are very nice. You may want to just stop by and chat with them when you arrive and get their feedback.

We are looking at booking the Sunset Tour in mid Feb, do you actually see the sunset on the tour? It says they depart at 4:30 and allow 3-3.5 hours, which takes you to 8pm... sunset isn't until 9pm.... other companies run a later tour.... we are just trying to figure out which is best.

Hi Joe, our 4:30pm Sunset Evening Classic tour runs later to incorporate the Sunset & Evening kayaking.
In early February the Sun sets from 8:30pm - 8:10pm (mid to late Feb).
Your tour will finish after 8pm.

Hi there,
Normally our kayak tours run in sheltered waters, so the sea is calm. If you are prone to motion sickness I would still recommend taking sea sickness medication as a precaution.

Hi there!
Our Kayaks have nice big seats in them especially in the back cockpit, I would say most likely but unfortunately it can be hard to tell until you actually sit in it physically. Height shouldnt be an issue as we have people come out for tours who are over 6ft tall. We do also have sit on top Kayak options available which we gaurantee will be suitable.

The male seals tend to do absolutely nothing all day bar lie on the rocks, cool down and have a good scrap. We saw a few on the rocks in the morning just last week, and a couple in the water. Book it, you won' regret it as the guys from Kaikoura Kayaks will find interesting things besides seals for you if they are unavailable that day.
They choose the best side of the headland dependent on conditions and you're 110% safe.

Hi there,
Orca Whale's are not normally seen that often in Kaikoura or by kayak.
If you want to view Whales I would recommend Whale Watch Kaikoura.
Our kayak tours focus on Fur Seals and Dusky Dolphins.

Hi Chloe,
We take out family's all the time in our safe, stable, double user friendly kayaks.
Normally an adult or guide is in the back of the kayak so the younger one's don't have to paddle as much.
Your guide will also have a tow line which can be used for assistance.
We also cut the paddling distance down on a family tour and spend more time with the seals.
Child life jackets and dry bags for cameras are also available.
Paddling time on the ocean would be only 1 and 1/2 hrs with a family group with a 1/2 hr briefing at the start and end of the tour.
Most family's kayaking with us in the past have found 2 and 1/2 hrs a good length of time for a tour and sometimes a lot of the younger children have fallen asleep in the front of the kayaks on the way home.
