We are going to be in Sydney in June 2020, but not sure if the Three Sisters and the area around it was affected by the fires. It is a full day, very long, tour and I don't want to waste my time and money if it isn't nice anymore.

The Three Sisters are no longer affected by Bushfires. Local businesses are already suffering because of the misconception that this part of NSW is on fire. This place is perfectly fine and the views were great when we visited on the 22nd of Jan. Very recommend everyone to visit. You shouldn't jave anything to worry about if you decide to visit. Hope this helps! Enjoy your travels!

I plan to visit the Blue Mountain from Sydney in late January. Is the afternoon tour worthwhile? When does the sun set? Would it be too dark to see the attractions?

It appears other reviewers have a more updated answer than I can provide. We went during a very cold day and didn't do a tour. The attraction itself is spectacular and well worth visiting. Enjoy.

I think morning time is the best time they don’t operate evenings and you would hardly be able to see anything
Enjoy

Does anyone have information on how to reach a private driver to take us on a day trip from Sydney to hike the Grand Canyon? Thanks!

"The Grand Canyon is in Arizona, USA." Yes, I've heard of that little gully in Arizona. But the OP is talking about the Grand Canyon track below Evans Lookout in Blackheath.
Not sure why the OP's question is being asked on this page though and the Grand Canyon is nowhere near The Three Sisters!
As for a private guide, you are better off engaging a local one to pick you up from either Katoomba station or Blackheath station.

hello. i decided to have 4 days holiday in blue mountains with my little family from 29 december till 1 January. and i have no idea how to visit the 3 sisters and how much will cost us? what time can we go ? if there is any entrance fee to there and if we can get it in the gate? if we need to book ? if you are open in these dates. please respond me and give me any other details and informations. Thank you

In addition to other comments, I recommend to book a hotel either in Katoomba or in suburbs around. Since the number of budget hotels are limited unlike Sydney it is better to book them now otherwise you may not find a good one in the minute.

Hi, I wanted to know if somebody could tell me the best thing to do at the three sisters, if it is wheelchair accessible and if you would return back to this site? Thank you.

For the sake of clarity, let me make one thing clear - The Three Sisters are NOT wheelchair accessible, so please ignore comments to the contrary. The track to The Three Sisters has recently been upgraded, but to get to the formation itself requires descending a number of steep and narrow steps.
There are a large number of lookouts both east and west of The Three Sisters with views across to the rock formation. Many of these are also not wheelchair accessible. The main lookout - at Echo Point - gives a great view of Jamison Valley, Narrowneck, Castle Rock, Mt Solitary and The Three Sisters. It is most definitely wheelchair accessible and there is also Disabled Parking available.

We are from US thinking driving from Sydney to Blue Mountain renting car for 2 days trip, Is driving on other side is oK? thanks

No need to hire a car. Go by train. It's a short ride and the train stops in the middle of town. Then take a hop on hop off bus [$25.00] or walk.

For the record, pets are NOT permitted at the Katoomba caravan park. This is mainly because the National Park is right across the road and pets are not permitted to enter it. This rule applies to the entire Blue Mountains National Park and to leashed pets as well as unleashed pets.
At Blackheath caravan park (15 min drive west from Katoomba) "pets are permitted on powered, non powered and ensuite sites in off peak and shoulder periods. Pets are not permitted inside cabin accommodation. Please seek approval from Park Managers and sign the Park Pets Register. Conditions apply."
