I had a fantastic double dive at the HMAS Brisbane with Scuba World in March 2022! I'm new to diving, and was by myself, but it was a small group and I was well looked after and so always felt safe... so could just enjoy the dives! It was my first wreck dive, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more... loved watching the fish swimming through the wreck and saw my first lion fish and guitar sharks!! A big thank you to Chris and all of the friendly crew at Scuba World, thoroughly recommend! :-)

The parking above the mast is impossible to use, no spaces. it is hard to photograph the mast from where it is; but the sentiment etc is great

Completed a dual dive on the HMAS Brisbane with SunReef Mooloolaba. The dive is a must do if you visit the area. We saw whales on the trip out and a dolphin welcomed us when we entered the water. The wreck is a mass of marine life with the ability to enter to explore inside.
The team was excellent to deal with and the guide Nick was extremely professional. I highly recommend this friendly crew to dive the wreck. They are helpful aboard and offer to wash your gear at the end of the trip.

Brilliant tour, brilliant crew, brilliant dives..... what more can I say ?? They made sure everyone had a great time over 2 dives. John was our guide and he was both attentive and professional through out to everyone's needs and abilities. Heaps of fish everywhere. Strongly recommend to anyone with open water and above.

Awesome day out! Sunreef diving tour. Highly Recommend! Depth 27m. Scuba O/W cert only required. Great informative tour guide. Dived euth my 15yr daughter had a blast!

Son in law as my dive buddy....dont ever dive without one...just not worth it....took the trip out with Sunreef Mooloolaba. Superfast trip to the wreck site....seas choppy but not to bad first dive to 23m and 21m for the second. Vis was not good at 4m for the first dive and 6m for the second. Previous dive there in 2007 had vis out to 10-12m. Not a regular diver and it was re-assuring to have a professional out fit for the day. We dived in groups and had to shorten our second dive as one of our group headed off with another group when we met up with them in the engine room of the Brisbane....our guide was frantic and did several searches before sending us to the surface via a 5m safety stop.....still all in all it was a great day out if you are feeling a little adventurous. Would strongly recommend the operator have different coloured rashies or air-tanks so groups cannot get mixed up. We saw lots of turtles and sea life...particularly around the boat as some of the not so sea-worth travelling companions provided the burly .........encouraging them!!!

Awesome dive, vision was 10-15m. Heaps of fish and rays. Best dive you can do in Australia. Strongly recommend!

Overview: A sunken ship, home to many fish species. Suitable for scuba or freediving.
The Good: When I woke up that morning, I wasn't expecting to dive a shipwreck. I had booked a swim with whales tour with Sunreef Mooloolaba. We had a spectacular morning freediving with a humpback whale and her calf. Finally, our captain said, "We've still got 40 minutes of tour left. Do you want to chase more whales or visit a shipwreck?" "Shipwreck" was the unanimous answer.
We circled an island, a frequent home to sharks, and spotted a sea turtle along the way. As we approached the HMAS Brisbane, our captain explained that she had been intentionally sunk to facilitate reef growth. When we entered the water, two stacks would be visible - the only portions of the ship accessible by freediving.
The waters swarmed with fish.
The Bad: The only regrettable part of this experience was that I wasn't able to explore the wreck further. The experience inspired me and other members of my party to go all-in for scuba diving certification.
