Absolutely fantastic experience with Steve and Dave, top guys with tonnes of knowledge. We are first time divers and the experience was amazing, saw plenty of sea life. They provided us with hot drinks and snacks. Couldn’t have gone any better.

They will take your money! But won’t give you what you paid for!
Booked with this Company online and was really looking forward to diving. They cancelled on me claiming that the weather was bad. Yet the weather was perfect! I was in any case unable to reschedule as they had asked me to do, due to travel commitments. So I asked for a refund. All I got was a pushy guy on the phone asking me to reschedule and avoid the topic of a refund.
Since returning home I have taken the issue up with my credit card company.
Take the advice from me and all the other commenters here …Avoid this company ! !

First dive trip went ok , I was rather concerned about the try divers who had no experience poor people.
Rebooked with the company for another 1/2 day diving ,I turned up at Mooloolaba with all my gear , I thought it was strange that no one else had turned up so I rang up Scuba Steve at Subsurface scuba , asked him what the problem was he said that the dive trip had been cancelled and everyone had been contacted Not Me though. The trip was cancelled due to bad weather , I told him I was staying at Mooloolaba for three nights so if the weather improved I was able to dive. This didn’t happen , I was supposed to have a refund , this didn’t happen , so I made a claim against my credit card company who were brilliant . There is a but , he is now trying to claim the money back . Do not trust him do not dive with this company . There are other dive companies in Mooloolaba.Use them instead they are the professional ones

It took me a while to process our experience and months to try to put it into words and I still don't know exactly what to say but I need to submit something as a warning to potential future customers so here is the short version. This business is a major incident waiting to happen. The "introductory dive" is absolutely unsuitable for complete beginners, despite what they say. They are willing to send beginners down to 12m with minimal instruction and no practice in a shallow, protected space. There was no opportunity to practice equalisation or to get accustomed to breathing with the regulator. We did not have a proper understanding of our equipment and felt unprepared to descend. None of the people on board for an introductory dive completed it as we all felt unsafe and rushed. The instructors were kind enough but Steve was not sympathetic and clearly frustrated with us. We were told that we couldn't wish for better conditions and made to feel that we were being unreasonable. I later learned that he has been blacklisted by PADI and is not allowed to instruct. He runs the business and drives the boat but has others guiding the customers. Please, use another company.

Booked a dive with these guys at Xmas time. Booked the dive the same day in the morning for the afternoon. The dive got cancelled due to weather which is perfectly acceptable. They knew the day before that the dive would not go ahead. They let me book it and took my money anyway. I assumed I would be able to get a refund but after 3 months of talking over the phone to an employee who tells me he can’t make a decision on a refund and continually missing the owner, I was told to email them. Sent 3 emails and got zero response. Unsure about their diving ability but the service is absolutely shocking. They are keeping my money for a service they did not provide. I will not be back in the area for years if ever. This is not a reasonable time frame for a service and not a fair go. Absolutely appalling.

It's been 2 weeks I'm waiting for a refund after a cancellation due to bad weather conditions, they told me it's not a problem over the phone and I'm still waiting, I booked through Adrenaline who called them as well and they first asked for some forms no one ever heard about and now only propose a reschedule while I'm not in Australia anymore, I booked for my friends and I so they owe me 800$. They will do everything they can to keep your money, I can't believe it. And I'm not the first one to complain, they are just thieves. I'm gonna report them in the next weeks if I don't get my money back.

Amazing day out on the water with the team for an intro to scuba.

My partner and I went today in Mooloolaba after having our original booking changed due to high winds. Steve contacted us earlier in the week offering us a few options to change the dive dates and worked with us to make sure it worked with our timelines, and even a little rain couldn't put a damper on the day. It was my first time diving, and my partner was doing a refresher.
We were well informed before jumping in that the surface was a bit choppy and were well prepared when we jumped in. At all stages of the dive we were kept informed of the conditions, and we were both checked up on throughout the day (me moreso due to the first dive.)
Steve and Louise were both incredible - they kept me calm and supported me even after I panicked under water on the first dive. I knew that I was in safe hands when Steve brought me back to the surface, and though he didn't force me back in for the second dive, I'm glad I got back in the water. We went down slow and steady, and Steve held my hand through it all to provide a really safe experience for me. Louise was an absolute joy on the boat, and though we didn't dive with her, she was very supportive up top for us and brightened our day.
My partner and I both enjoyed the sights- we saw some beautiful fish, sharks, and even a friendly turtle who swam along side us for a while. Highly recommend for newbies and experienced divers alike.

Disappointing but more-so terrifying. I could write a book and have unfortunately re-lived this awful experience many many times…but in short: we signed up and paid for a dive leaving from ‘Noosa’ (‘a sheltered bay’), we then found out they don’t actually have boats leaving from there and we were expected to find a way/drive to Mooloolaba. It was made clear to us that if we didn’t go where they expected us to go from, we wouldn’t be reimbursed. This dive was post the ongoing floods in QL and we were taken out on a day not suitable for a safe diving experience. Winds were 40K (20+ knots) and swells were 2-3 metres. It was a lengthy boat trip out (45+ min) and once we arrived we were met by anything but ideal conditions.
Our small group decided to brave the water (I myself wanted to get in asap to help with sea sickness) and once in the water we were met with a strong current (on top of the large swell). We were told we would be descending via a fixed line attached to the front of the boat, which to get to we had to traverse using a rope attached to the side of boat. As we held on we were being lifted well out of the water and then plunged underneath, often smashing our tanks into the boat. All this while…we were not being told any clear instructions on how to continue. After a few minutes of this hell-on-earth I chose to leave the water.
Once I aborted the dive the others re-entered from the back of the boat via a different rope (which was a better entrance but not ideal as there was no fall-back rope/plan B if the current pulled you from the line. Apparently once you got down past 5m the visibility improved and the current stopped, and the 2 dives were OK. That said, the group concurred that despite doing many dives in many countries (one person had done over 100), no one had experienced an entrance even close to that amount of crazy (ie: no swells or currents near that level let-alone both at once. I was told by the owner that it was a “pretty standard day” for them and that I really should have done a dive refresher first (despite me having no concern with the technical diving, the conditions were simply insane).

My scuba diving tour on 21/11 morning was canceled. My friends and I have called multiple times and you said you'll check that but we are never replied. I also contacted you on FB and the result is the same. We have still not received the refund now. Please do reply me here or Facebook soon.
