Was here with my father in law who lives in Talgarth. He is now 85 years old and has also served in the Welsh Army. He was very moved and thought the monument was a wonderful tribute.

I love the Welsh memorials - and this dragon is no exception! It's surrounded by markers recognising each of the Welsh Regiments who fought in Flanders.

Very peaceful and a must visit for all Welsh visitors to the area. Also in close proximity to Hedd Wyn memorial.

Menhirs en draken, druiden en Wales het gaat allemaal samen, een zeer mooi monument dat de kracht van de gestorven Welshmen uitstralen. klein maar apart, doe de moeite om het op te zoek.

Despite being adjacent to a main road, this is still a beautiful and peaceful place to remember and acknowledge the men of my home country who went and fought in WW1. You can't miss it as it has a large red dragon as the centrepiece and stones like you would see in a stone circle.
We spent quite a lot of time there reading all the tributes and there's also a place for wreaths to be left. For anyone who is Welsh, or of Welsh heritage, this is a must-go. For anyone else, I would still suggest you visit to see this memorial set with acres of fields behind, it is hard to imagine what it must have been like 100 years ago.
I MUST add, just before you get to this memorial, keep your eyes open for signs directing you down a small road to the Harry Patch memorial. Not much there but we should visit to pay tribute to the last British Tommy.

Precioso memorial en recuerdo a las victimas galesas que murieron durante la Gran Guerra. Sin conocer los simbolos galeses, asocio al dragon con esa tierra. El conjunto del dolmen (se que tiene otro nombre en gales) con el expectacular dragon encaramado encima, y el pequeño parque donde estan situados con diferentes elementos visualmente atractivos, hacen muy interesante y grata la visita a este lugar.
Si estas por la zona visitando lugares relacionados con la Gran Guerra, no es muy dificil acercarse y parar unos minutos.

Visited this memorial after Tyne Cot memorial. It was really significant to my in laws. It is a stunning memory to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. With the parts of the memorial brought from Wales and engravings by person at St Davids. It is along side the road and you can pull in and stay a while. Very Moving.

Great little memorial came to it on the way from Yorkshire Trench to Passendale. Welsh flag flying in the distance with a striking red dragon.
